milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Cycling & Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe

The Voodoos organized another cycling outing at East Coast Park cos they says I need a refresh course after training session. During the training session, I only cycle less than a hour. This time, I manage to cycle on my own for close to 2 hours without anyone holding the bicycle!

With my little backpack, adidas shoe & tupperware tumbler, I'm ready!

Since I'm early, I had my late lunch at McDonald's first while waiting for them to arrive. I ordered Samurai Burger Meal with additional Hot Fudge Sundae. Honestly, I still prefer Samurai burger without mayonnaise & lettuce to taste the original teriyaki sauce. The pool of sauce you see at the side, it's a mixture of garlic chilli + ketchup + black pepper. I swear, this is the best sauce combination for fries. Another way of enjoying the fries is to dip it in hot fudge sundae. You're really got to try it!

Met up with the rest & we girls (Penny, myself, Angela & Ivy) took a picture while Whye Wan & Wencai went to meet Raymond at the carpark cos he couldn't find his way.. Zzzzz

While cycling, I almost hit a baby in pram cos the whole Muslim family of 8 was walking a straight line on the bicycle track & block the entire track! Luckily I manage to "siam" them but almost fall from my bike. When Ivy told them to stay on the pedestrian track as it is not only dangerous for cyclist, it is also dangerous for them especially when they have a baby in pram, one of the guy mumble to his family in Malay to ignore us! Honestly, what's wrong with these people? So inconsiderate can?! Sometimes I really wonder if they understand English or just simply inconsiderate!

We continue our ride & finally reached McDonald's. As I'm quite tired, I asked them to go ahead while I rest my feet cos my butt is super painful =D

After resting for awhile, I slowly make my way back to the bicycle rental shop (Lifestyle Bike N Skate) before heading to Changi Airport Terminal 3 for dinner

Every restaurant has a super long snake queue, so we ended up at 新旺香港茶餐厅

As we're in such a big group, we waited for an hour or so to get a table. Thus, took some pictures while waiting

Stew Beef noodle. noodle texture was just right & the beef is very tender. Radish on the other hard is not as soft as expected

Chives Dumpling. Pan fried to golden brown on one side while the it's moist on the other side. Fresh ingredients inside are juicy

Custard Bun is nice with custard flowing out even when the bun has cool down.

Prawn wrap in beancurd skin. Prawn inside is fresh & sweet but it's slightly oily

Complimentary Beancurd with Mango if you spend $50 in a single receipt & charged it to any POSB/DBS card

Ice jelly with watermelon, longan & pearls
