Day trip to Batam with Ivy

Quick breakfast at Toast Box

First stop, Reborn Foot Reflexology

The lady is nice to try & help me relieve my trigger finger issue but she says the condition too long already, will need very long to recover. Looks like surgery is the best way to relieve the pain.
Love the ginger tea & coconut cookies here.
We randomly walk in to Duck Kitchen for lunch
The roast duck was good with crispy skin & tender meat.

Overall the dishes are quite decent.
Lamoist is a must buy at Batam! This is by far the best kueh lapis, in my humble opinion.
Another must-buy is mie-goreng of different brands/ flavors. Batam is a World of Indo-mie 😂
My Eureka reusable bag is damn big capacity!
Maybe I should use trolley next time!
Rested for awhile before going for dinner
Saw this hotel while on the way to another mall. Just wondering, will you dare stay in this hotel? Oh btw, this is hotel is under Hotel81 & there's even a Merlion statue in the pool area! 😂
Dinner at Pempek Kolecta, another place we randomly walk in

Chicken a bit small but the taste is quite decent.

To the ferry terminal to catch a ferry home.

Loots from Batam
It was quite an impromptu day trip and most ferry were full. The next available ferry to Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal is in 2 hours, unless we take up business class which is available in the next hour.

And so yes, we took up business class with Horizon Ferry & go on board the one that is an hour away.
Grabbed a cuppa hot chocolate from CBTL for my journey across the sea

First time here, the new Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal

After foot massage, we head out for lunch at A&W

Followed by grocery shopping
While my basket is only 20 tubs of body scrub, check out my bff's basket
Then we went back for snack & dessert at A&W
Back to Reborn for back massage.. haha
Last on the list, Wey Wey Live Seafood for dinner

Let's feast on!
Grabbed a drink while waiting for ferry home, and that's how the staff at Starbucks staff spell my name
And that concludes our day trip
Till we meet again, Batam!
