I have been wanting to crochet a dress for my Labubu & finally got down to making one after talking about it for more than a month 😁

Bought this yarn hook for quite sometime already but end up don't know how to use it.

Anyway, I started on the tube with this mixed color yarn.
Changed to white for the bottom of the dress.
Looks a little short to me
So I added on another row. Contemplating to add shoulder strap but decided to remain it as a Tube Dress

Tada~~ completes in less than 2 hours

Then I realized it can double up as hat too! Many I should do a hat using either white or the mixed color yarn.
Using the crochet & stitch on the go method I found from youtube, managed to stitch 2 granny squares as I go along

Test fit and I think it looks quite nice, a little retro! Maybe I should make another one, but with a slightly thinner width.

Thus, she draw up a "manual" for me!
She keeps telling me to start with 6 stitches & increases to 12 but somehow, it turn out like this 😓
Then it curl up on nxt try
Some where there but the square doesn't seem to form
So I went to look at the stitches on the bag she gave me. Then I realized that something is wrong. She keeps telling me to start with 6 stitches & increase to 12 but this starts with 12!
After watching a youtube video & rewatching the same video a couple of times, I finally managed to figure out how to get a granny square done!
And I tried using 2 different colors & tadaa~~ my first crochet granny square! #slowlearner 😅 with a little achievement! Now I can slowly think of what to do 😂
1st set of 1 row of sc & 2 rows of dc
2nd set
3rd set
Stitching it up
Looking a bit plain
So I add my name onto it.
Here it goes ... .. customized crochet cup cozy. Using tumbler to test it out.
But sadly, it doesn't fit the cup at work cos it's of a different shape. Need to do another one that fits this cup shape.
Evelyn says she's into purple these days, so I work with both the purple I have, and using a smaller band.

Completed, but somehow feels that this looks more blue than purple
Another purple yarn I had

For this I only do it with a row of double crochet instead of the usual dc & sc.
2 different sizes
Upon Sam's request, the new item on my list is a tissue pouch.
Supposed to stich up both sides but ... ...
I find the sides a bit too messy, I redo a new piece!
Slightly better. At least the sides are quite straight.
Using stitch needles to hold the patch in place.
And so, tadaa~~ my first tissue pouch!
So I tried doing a 2nd piece for Wendy
I think it's pretty good for 2nd attempt.

Tada~~ done with the 2nd tissue pouch.
