National Reading Competition

They won during the south-west district competition, so this time they're representing south-west district in the national competition.. supposed to be competition, but it turned out that all participants got a medal each.. everyone's a winner!

Daryl's very first reading competition!

10 kids were selected by their teachers to take part in this reading competition organised by the National Library Board. Nursery Classes will have to recite nursery rhyme, and a total of 3 groups participating.

This is what they did... ...

"When beetles go a walking"

When beetles go a walking

I wonder what they say

Because they nod their pretty heads,

Good day, good day, good day

When beetles go a running

I wonder what they say

Because they nod their pretty heads,

Good day, good day, good day

When beetles go a flying

I wonder what they say

Because they nod their pretty heads,

Good day, good day, good day

Their group (PCF Choa Chu Kang) came in first & they will represent South West district to take part in the National Reading competition in July!

Well done, Daryl & friends! Not forgetting, their teachers too!
