Sam & myself got another invitation from Hai Japan for another tasting session. This time, at Maru-Ten Udon , United Square

Kake Udon. I like the chewy texture of the udon & the breadcrumbs adds a little crunchiness to the dish
Curry/ Beef Udon - Personally I don't like Japanese curry as it's a tad too sweet for my liking.
Kama-age Udon

Here comes the main attraction of the tasting session!
Christmas Udon – Matcha
Maru-Ten's signature al dente Sanuki udon infused with fragrant matcha and topped with its in-house tangy tomato sauce, accompanied by a trio of crunchy delights - crispy Arancini (a croquette of rice and shrimp), tempura shiso and sweet pumpkin.
The Christmas udon starts from just $11.80 for the small portion, $13.80 for the regular and $15.80 for the large and only available at United Square
Lastly, Soup Ten-Don, with choice of tempura comes in 3 different bowl sizes
After choosing your choice of tempura, time to add on the soup
Oops, I added too much & it turned out to be like ....
Porridge! =
