milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Milkfrost Sews | Handsewn Reusable Mask

Been staying at home and nothing much to do, so I try google for sewing a reusable mask

I used a very old skirt which I have no worn for year!Following steps & measurement found on youtube Removed the wire piece from a disposable mask & inserted into thisThinking that it'll be easier when I use a pleated skirt but it turns out that the pleats is a hindranceSo I had to iron the lines away, redo & iron it againAdd-on the ear lopeBut ... ... I stupidly do it wrong way & the ear lopes are inside the mask! How about a strapless mask? 😅Ok, remove the stitches & redoAnd, haha.. still got pocket to insert filter!Tada~~ although the ear lope is a little bit tight, I think it looks not bad for my first attempt on handsewn reusable mask!
