Time for our monthly team bonding session

Cos Sam has the craving for Taiwanese food, I googled & found Jyu Gae that's located nearest to us. However, he requested for delivery so that it's more convenient for everyone to go home after the makan session.
So yes, the supper situation! Food was pretty good, so I reckon can go visit them for dine-in next time.Missing 2 PT cos 1 is in BKK while the other has family issue
Me still full from lunch & dinner, only ate probably 5% of what's on the table 😅
Dan also brought a huge bag of peanuts (left over from his grandpa's wake) and since no one else eats this, I brought it home for my BIL 😂

 

Synthesis & HaveFun Karaoke | Lunch & KTV w/MJ Gang

Paul initiate a meet up for meal/ ktv session and cos I'm having a dinner appointment at City Hall area, I suggested Suntec City where we can have lunch & ktv at the same time.

So I'm back at Synthesis for lunch

This time I opt for Blue Plum (mocktail +$6). Slightly sourish yet refreshing.

As usual, the set lunch comes with 3 appetizers eachSince the last time I had steak, I opt for fish today & it sure didn't disappoint.😊
Today's dessert is Osmanthus cakeThe staff also brought us complimentary shots (gin+yuza) cos I made reservations via the returning customer link that was sent to me after my first visit. When I jokingly asked if we can have a refill, he brought us another round of the shots!Thanks Synthesis for the complimentary shots, good food & excellent service. Shot out to Lester who made us feels at home 😊Hopefully the menu will be updated on my next visit cos the staff mentioned that they're in the process of menu revamp.Headed over to HaveFun Karaoke for KTV session.Btw, the monitors in this room (E09) was quite lamely fixed. It was fixed on both side of the walls & so whoever siting on has to position themselves very low else it'll block your view. Another option is to sit sideways to look at the monitor behind you. And weirdly, the HaveFun app doesn't works in this outlet 😐
First time KTV-ing with Paul & surprised that he sings Chinese songs leh 😂 Angela, my long-time ktv partner. She practically knows all the latest songs, so much so that I calls her "judebox" and I used to ktv a lot with her when I was still working in McD's/ Subway 😂
Had a fun ktv session and hope we can do this again soon.

Lee Na Young | SSculpture

Lunch at Daxi before my appointment at Lee Na Young. Food was good but service definitely has room for improvement. Feedback sent, hopefully there'll be improvement the nxt time I dine in.

Got myself a Osmanthus Grapefruit Tea cos taking a walk from Plaza Singapura to Wilke Edge under the hot sun

Been having this pain on my right hip area for close to 2 weeks and it's slowly affecting my sit bone and walking. Sis suggested I go for SSculpture and target on Butt Lifting to strengthen the muscle and see if it helps to reduce the pain.

Since the treatment include 2 areas, the staff did for me abdonimal abs toning as well, but well... of cos it don't work immediately since I have quite a big tummy. So, don't ask me about the effect on the abdominal abs 😆
And so, for the butt lifting, it sure does reduce the pain that I have on my right hip is significantly reduced but there is still a slight pain, especially at the front. Will probably need a couple of sessions or maybe massage/ acupuncture for the pain to be fully gone. Also, my siting & standing posture also play a part lah! But for now, it's all good 😌If you're interested in getting some abs or toning up certain areas, do check them out.

RIP, Max the Rottweiler

My handsome paw friend, Max was already having some medical issues in Jan'24 and losing a lot of weight when May had just given birth and was in confinement center. Sadly, I just got to know that he had succumbed to his illness and finally crossed the rainbow bridge on Hari Raya. 

Although I didn't get to meet him a lot of times, he was really sweet when I met him when he was puppy & again after 9 years, so it was still sad for me to know that he had left but I'm sure he will be a happy boy from now cos he is finally free from suffering.

I hope he managed to spend some time with his human brother before he left.
