I was on annual leave on Friday as I have a one-night stay-cation at Marina Bay Sands, so I met up with Angeline for lunch at 鼎泰豐 while waiting for aunty Vicky's friend to contact me on how to collecting the room key cos she helped to book the room at a discounted rate
We both ordered the sour plum drink which is not too sour.
Fried Rice with Shrimps & Eggs. Rice very fragrant & shrimp nicely cooked
Stir Fry Nai Bai with Garlic
Sliced Duck in Crispy Spring Onion Pastry. Slightly oily but the smoked duck is quite tasty.
Steamed Angled Gourd & Shrimp Dumplings
Oops. Wrong choice. The vegetable in the dumpling has got quite a weird taste & the filling is quite little. Apart from the weird tasting vegetable, there is hardly any broth in the dumplings.
Halfway thru lunch, aunty Vicky's friend called to inform that she has already checked-in the hotel room & gave me a code to collect the key. We head over to the hotel to collect the keys, checked-in & rested awhile (will blog about it soon) before heading to Watson's warehouse sale at Suntec Convention Hall & over to Marina Square.
Angeline suggested resting our feet at St Marc Cafe, but I suggested Lady M since both of us have not tried before. There isn't any queue, so we quickly settled down within minutes
I ordered a Lime juice hoping to ease the heat from the hot weather, but the lime juice is quite sour & somehow it tastes quite like Peel Fresh Lime juice

Angeline had the Checkers which is quite moist & fluffy & rich in chocolate, the staff should have cut the cake nicely. The tart was slanting to to one corner it looks like it'll collapse anytime
I had Tarte a la Mangue (Mango tart). Shortcrust quite buttery & passion fruit curd is quite sour. Mango is so so sour I had quite a hard time finishing it even thou I have a high threshold of sour!
The we continue shopping for a while & I bought a dress from Mango. Tummy bulging, so hopefully it won't grow any bigger & I can refrain from wearing it till CNY =D
