My existing pair of 19 months old Dr Martens is slowing wearing off but sadly, Dr Martens have left Singapore market. I've been trying to get friends in Malaysia to help me check if it's available in their market but to no avail. I even had to ask friend to check out for me in Korea cos she's going for holiday in September!
Magically, Midas happened to be in Paris/ London for holiday & I grabbed the chance to ask if she can help me get one pair for work and she agreed to check for me without any hesitation!
Although she didn't manage to get for me in London but managed to get for me in Paris. However, she didn't manage to get the pair of slip resistant design that I'm wearing it now.
As she is ditching the box to conserve her luggage space & weight, she took a couple of picture & sent it to me first 😅
Finally collected my new pair of Dr Martens 1461 Smooth Leather Oxford Shoe with add-on 2 pairs of shoelaces!


Keeping it aside cos hoping my existing pair can still last for a couple of months to meet the 2 years mark (previous pair lasted for 32 months!). But yeah, to new work shoes!

Mel brought along Hansel. We haven't seen him since he's a couple of weeks old.
Can't remember the name if this starter but the veggie is damn crunchy!
Ribs was very tender
Luckily restaurant automatically add on 1 Peking duck to our reservation cos it didn't cross our mind to reserve 1 duck, taking for granted that it will be available for order off the shelf! Chef slicing up the duck right in front of diners!


Way of cooking is slightly different here compare to other restaurants. Here they do not have much balance of meat available for frying it with noodle cos 80% of the duck meat is being removed for direct consumption, Balance of the 20% are mostly the parts near the bones, so we choose to just stir fry with salt & pepper.
