milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

A-Team's Causal Sunday Dinner

Few of us from the A-Team meet up for dinner & Nizam suggested Puncak. Both the boys are sick, so Jenny stays at home to care for them & did not join us.

Each of us had a main dish & also ordered few dishes to share

Black Pepper Chicken Rice - Kogu says its too peppery

Roasted Chicken Rice - Taste normal. *Don't be mistaken by the amount of chicken. This portion is with extra chicken

Fried Kway Teow w/Cockles - Nice but too oily. It's be better with pork lad!

Oats Sotong - Sotong nicely done, not too chewy, but a little salty

Fried Wanton - Minced prawn & deep fried with wanton skin. Crispy & served with black sauce

Hotplate Tofu - Generous serving of egg! Unfortunately, no minced pork :(

Grapefruit Olive Oil Loaf

I recently came across this Grapefruit Olive Oil Loaf recipe posted by Gninethree and I decided to give it a try since grapefruit juice is one of my daily juice boost.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup self raising flour
1/4 cup raw sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup Florida's Natural Red Ruby Grapefruit juice
1 teaspoon grapefruit zest
3 tablespoon olive oil
1 pinch of salt

Combine self raising flour & raw sugar together, make a well in the centre

Separately, whisk the egg. Then add Florida's Natural Grapefruit juice, grapefruit zest, olive oil & salt. Continue whisking till well mixed.

Pour into the well of self raising flour & raw sugar

Stir till just-combined.

Pour the mix into a greased mini-loaf pan &

Bake for 25 mins @ 200C

Ding ~~ Well, of cos mine doesn't looks as nice as Gninethree's but it taste pretty nice. Thanks for the recipe!

Fruits Popsicle

Weather is so hot these few days, so I decided to make some popsicles!

Since Florida's Natural Grapefruit Juice is one of my daily juice boose, I bought Strawberries, Kiwis & Blueberries to make fruit popsicle.

No fixed quantity of the fruits. Just use the amount as you desire

20 Blueberries

4 Strawberries, sliced

2 Kiwis, sliced

Popsicle mold. I bought this at Daiso!

Placed sliced fruits into the popsicle mold
**the quantity I use is slightly too much for 4 moulds though =D

Fill the gap with Florida's Natural Grapefruit Juice

My excited nephew, Daryl helping to place the cover of the popsicle mold

Done!

Into the freezer they go!

Tada ~~~ Here's how it looks when frozen
