It's been a long time since I had hi-tea with Sam & Wendy

We made reservations for 2nd seating but due to low responses this week, L'Espresso actually merged both sessions together & so we're allowed to sit in from 12.30-6.30pmLocal spread was delish, especially laksa!Wide selections of pastries, desserts & iced tea is free flow but only 1 selection of hot tea/ coffee. Some wefies 😂Wendy & myself went window shopping & came across these cute furniture. Super love the Alpaca stool! Maybe I should get one for my house next time (if still available).

Major part of my EX-Link points are expiring but not much rewards are available for redemption. Thus, I redeem a $5 top up on EZ-Link wallet with 5000 points

But before redeeming, please make sure you have already sign up for the EZ-Link walletTada~ $5 into the wallet & it can be used at merchants that accept payment by EZ-Link wallet.
Also redeem some points for Transitlink credits since I travel on public transport daily.4500 points for $30 of travel credits
And my EZ-Linik card is ready to be top up.Tada~~ $30 or travel credits into my daily commute EZ-Link card for work. But now I'm thinking if I should credit it into the other card that I use for my off-days. 

 

Bizen Okayama Steak House | Dinner w/Family

Late dinner with the family at Bizen Okayama Steak House (Funan) after NDP Preview cos got craving for steak since it's not within the manager entitlement 😅

Sis & the elder kids order Chawanmushi & I must say, it's one of the best cos it's smooth & wobbly. Sis ordered Spaghetti Salad instead of a main dish cos she's prepared to eat the left-overs from Dalton 😅Kid's meal & the fries portion is quite huge the kiddo can't even finishRibeye for Damien & looks at the amount of fats! 😋Daryl's Hanger was good for chewing yet tender. BIL's Shoga Oroshi Negi Chicken. Don't order this if you don't like ginger & spring onion. This is one of my favorite chicken.Chuck Short Rib. Besides Ribeye, this has to be my all-time favorite cos it's super fatty! The fattier the meat is, the juicier it is!  Wonderful meal & the kids totally enjoyed it!

 

National Day Parade Preview 2023 | Day Out with Family

Woohoo~~ we're going for NDP Preview!

Don't say that we're lucky hor... cos sis balloted for the longest time (since the first time ballot of tickets is being introduced in year 2003) & it's the first time she got 6 tickets! I have not even gotten once!NDP MascotBag check areaWonder how long it takes the unsound hero to build & remove these!Green sector, facing the parliament house At the green sector, we were initially delighted to be facing the parliament house but ... ... it's the back side of the performers so u can't really see much & have to depend on the big screen for everything & you only see sparkles instead of fireworks! 😐 

But well, no complains as the atmosphere is definitely different from watching the parade on screen at home.
