Day 1:
A short visit to Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Buddhist Temple, one of the biggest Buddhist temples in South East Asia before checking in to Hotel Mercure.
Lunch was at Kazu Japanese restaurant, which is owned by my sec. classmate! nice environment & good food @ good value!
next stop, DC shopping mall! but when we reached at abt 2pm (Batam time), all the shops were closed & everyone were forced to leave the mall.. why? cos they received call for BOMB tread! kwang kwang kwang.. we then headed to Nagoya Hill shopping mall.. after spending 3hrs in Nagoya Hill, we head back to DC mall again & than to one of the chinese shopping mall before back to hotel
