Garden of Lights w/Sanrio Characters at Vivo City | MeTime

Since I was at Vivo City for lunch, I went to the sky garden to take a look at the Garden of Lights with Sanrio Characters installation

There's a couple of cute photo spotsAnd a long walkway of Hello Kitty & friendsAnd also a huge Hello Kitty with a mini-maze in front of it. 

Maybe I should come back again one of these nights to look at the lights 😂

 

Tonkatsu Enbiton | MeTime

Finally trying Yuzu Pork Katsu at Tonkatsu Enbiton

Chawanmushi was served in a very exquisite looking bowl. Pork Katsu was really tender & you doesn't have the kind of oily feeling when eat it with the shredded daikon. Food quality was delish & superb!

Only wish is that the staff could be more attentive to check on customers for refills of cabbage & tea, especially when the outlet was not even half occupied during lunch time.

Lunch with the family at Tung Lok Seafood in celebration of mum's 70th Birthday.

Apart from items 10 - 14 are one-time servings, the rest of the items are unlimited. It is definitely ala carte buffet at affordable price for the list of items offered & the quality of food. Pork Ribs, Sashimi (so fresh we ordered 3x!), Jellyfish Salad, XO Carrot CakeMaki, Salted Egg Fish Skin, Eggplant with pork floss, Seafood Hor-funStir-fried Beef, Steam Chicken Claw, Spinach, Spicy DumplingHar-gao, Siew-mai, Prawn Paste Chicken, Char Siew BaoBeancurd Skin w/Shrimp, Sea Bass, Prawn in Herbal Soup, Young Cabbage. Yes, the prawn & sea bass is also unlimited!Shark's Fin soup, Scallop w/french bean, Salted Egg Prawn, Whole Abalone & Mushroom as well as Oysters are one-time servings!Desserts are also unlimited!Cos I reckon we'll be very full from lunch, I bought the White Peach Tart instead of cake from Henri Charpentier & it very very nice! Happy 70th Birthday, Mum
Missing bil as well as kor & family cos they're out of town and this was quite a last min arrangement as everyone is busy with their own schedule.
