李仪饼店 | Taiwan Goodies from Le Bff

Le Bff had an impromptu trip to Taiwan & so I got her to buy for me 凤凰苏 from 李仪饼店 & 阿婆铁蛋 .. 

Specifically asked for 凤凰苏 from 李仪饼店 cos I personally find that they have the best Pineapple Tart in Taiwan & also they're probably the only brand that has Pineapple Tart with Salted Egg YolkThis brand is introduced to my sister by the locals back in the early 90s but surprisingly, they only have one outlet (or rather, a collection point) in Taipei, Taiwan. If you're keen to try, this is the addressI also specifically wanted 阿婆铁蛋 cos they're the only brand that still uses chicken eggs for their 铁蛋 while mostly brands are using quail eggs. But then again, for the chicken eggs 铁蛋, it's really very hard! 😂Le bff also bought Boba Tea Milk Tea & can actually taste like you're drinking bubble tea & eating mochi at the same time!

Thanks Le Bff for taking the trouble to search for the 2 items & lugging them back for me!

 

Mr Mookata | Supper w/Karen & Heng

It was suppose to be supper at McDonald's ended up at Mr Mookata cos both McDonald's at Bugis Junction & Bugis Village is full house! 

While Heng wanted only a couple of items, Karen & I wanted seafood. Thus, we opt for buffet 😂We paid abt $34 per pax for free flow of meat/ seafood/ drinks/ etc and it's actually quite worth the price. Not a bad option for supper venue as they're open till 6am, but there is a dining time limit of 90mins.

 

G7 Live Seafood | Supper w/Dominique

It's been a long time since I last met Dominique & cos I seek her assistance o purchase epoch Glacial Marine Mud from Nuskin, she also pop by my outlet for dinner with her business partners

Thus, we went for supper after I finished work and she brought me to G7 Live Seafood/ Frog Lag PorridgeHappily chatting and miscalculate the last bus timing & while waiting for traffic light to cross over to bus stop, the last 67 drove past me! 😥I ended up taking 197 to Jurong East & grab a cab home so that it's not as costly as grabbing a cab from Geylang to the West 😅

Note to self: Next time must leave before 12am!

 

Milkfrost Shops | Acuvue Define

Managed to pre-order some daily colored disposable contact lens via one of the salesperson from Ooppa Optical at JB City Square Mall via whatsapp and got Karen to help me pick it up since she's going to JB 😜

I actually placed order for 4 boxes (RM$120 each box); grey, rose, blue & green. However, the staff at Ooppa mentioned green is out of stock, so I got Karen to pick up the rest & to pay for delivery (S$15) and arrange for the box of green lens to be delivered to Singapore.

Btw, it turns out that the green is actually available for collection by Karen! I reminded her to look for the guy I ordered from & informed that she is paying & collecting on my behalf. However, she didn't look for the ghuy but went to another staff saying she wants to buy contact lens. Thus, the "out of stock" situation happens & I have to end up paying additional delivery fees! 

Now I have to arrange another trip to JB just to purchase the 4 boxes that the first guy had reserved for me in the first place cos I paisey to tell him to sell it away else he might not help me again next time 😅

 

Haidilao IMM | Supper w/Marely

Impromptu supper date with Marely cos collecting mooncakes from her & she says it's been ling time since we ate at HDL together.

Looks like after tonight, I can claim another $50 voucher!As I've already had dinner, we didn't order a lot.The peeps at IMM disturbs her on her her haircut saying she has the same hairstyle as me, except that her hair's in purple 😂Apart from the usual desserts, IMM is the only branch that offers black glutinous rice porridge!Thanks, Marely for supper & mooncakes from RWS
