milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

July Babies Birthday @ Chef d'Table

Chef d'Table - The last time we came here on Dec'12, it was for my Birthday and we were impressed with their service & food. Over the weekend, we're back here for another Birthday Celebration & to see if they are still as good!

Restaurant setting

Table setting.

Theresa & myself opt for the 4-course Chef's Menu to save our brain cells from dying while Sam choose to have only an entree & main dish. Jiaming who need to leave early for another gathering with friends opt for only main course.

Just like the last time, a basket of bread was served before our meal. The breads are served warm & are soft. The Olive dip is very nice!

Sam's entree - Foie Gras. The aroma of the dish can be smelt before it reaches the table.

Entree for the Chef's Menu - Mushroom Tofu. Soft & crispy homemade beancurd with truffle sauce

Jiaming needs to leave early, so we snap a pix before she left

Soup for the Chef's Menu - Lobster Bisque

Jiaming's Main Dish - Pink Dory. It was fresh & the lemon butter goes quite well with the fish, ut Sam feels its too buttery for her liking. Ms Alyssa tried a small piece of it & she likes, so Theresa ordered for her also.

Main dish for Chef's menu is a choice of Chicken, Seabass & Angus Beef. I was feeling beefy, so I opt for beef. It was again nicely done to my liking of medium rare & it was very soft & tender. This time round, the portion is slightly bigger compared to the previous time

Ms Alyssa can't wait to start digging on her fish!

Another option for main dish of Chef's menu - Seabass. Sam also ordered this for her ala cart. No complains from them, so it should be good.

Dessert for the Chef's Menu is a total surprise! A very interesting concept which I like. You won't know what is the dessert till it's being served!

Coconut Pudding - Pudding is a little bland but smooth. You need to pair it with the Palm Sugar

Valrhona Chocolate Fondant w/vanilla ice cream & Orange Creme Brulee

Birthday Cake is complimentary from the Restaurant

"Birthday Girl" can't wait to blow candle & eat the cake & ice cream!

Our table of desserts!

I can't wait to dig in, so I'm not telling you how good is the desserts. Watch the video below to find out!

Can you feel the goodness of the desserts? How good it is, you'll have to find out yourself!

One last picture of the dessert before it's being wiped out!
