Fiona initiate an impromptu "Get Fat Session" @ Triple Three.
Priced @ $98++, it includes Asian and International delicacies; Sashimi and garden-fresh salads, sushi, tempura and teppanyaki specials; Premium roast section; Fresh seafood; Asian wok-fried favorites; Indian dishes and mouth-watering desserts.
This month, it also includes a Special Chocolate buffet!
Halfway thru taking pictures of the food , I decided that I should stop taking pictures cos the queue at every station is very long. Also cos... ... I'm too hungry to continue; too tempted to start! =D
The queue for Oysters is very long as the Chef at this station is pretty slow. Personally, I feel that they should have at least pre-open some Oysters, put it on the ice tray so that diners can just pick & go instead of standing in the queue waiting for them to open. Or they should have at least 2 person at the station to shorten the waiting time.
Anyway, since I give up taking picture of the buffet spread, I shall snap pictures of my food choice
Chilled Prawns, Oysters, Smoked Yellow Tail (if I remember correctly) & Salmon.
Chawanmushi with lots of roe on top
Fried Salmon Skin with Mango dressing. The dressing taste a little like Thai Mango Salad and it taste pretty good with the Fried Salmon Skin
Crayfish in Chilli Crab Sauce. Yummy~
Assorted Sashimi are fresh
Oysters again. The Oysters are fresh but a little skinny thou
Few servings of Lobster Mentayaki. The taste is not very consistant. Some are nicely done, but some are a little salty & a little wet. Some lobster's flesh are a little chewy too. I prefer the Grill Ebi Mentayaki at Irodori
The Herbal Prawn is good. Prawns were cooked alive! I like the bitterness of the soup while Sam finds it too bitter for her liking
Roast Beef & Ham were very soft & tender. but the slice of ham I got is a little fatty =D Salmon was fresh & nicely baked.
Well, by the time I went for special Chocolate buffet station, there isn't much choice left.
Went back to the main dessert station & there ain't much choice left also =( Took the Green Tea Ice Cream & Mango Sorbet. Both were very good, Green Tea is a little bitter while the Mango is sour. Blends pretty well.
Bread & Butter Pudding is sweet while The Lemon Meringue Tart is sour. The tart is not too buttery.
The meal ended with a cup of tea & some juicy gossips =D
We then make our way to TCC Peranakan Place for more drinks
Sam & Myself had the July's feature drink - Sensorial Sizzle *oops.. a little blur* - a mixture of Orange & Mango. Pretty refreshing
Angeline's Honey Citrus Fizz
Fiona's Manuka Angel. This silly girl didn't read the menu carefully, ordered this when she do not take alcholic drink! In the end she got to order another drink! =D
