Staycation | Royal Plaza on Scotts

It's been awhile since I do a staycation so decided to do one!

Chosen Royal Plaza on Scotts as the staycation venue this timeGot upgraded to a room with attached bathtub cos they took quite awhile to settle my check-in due to system error.Amenities provided in the room Comfortable bed, rested for awhile & out for a walk as well as dinner with le bffBought drink from Mr Coconut while on the way backAlso bought bubble bath from Lush while I was out cos I didn't expected to be upgraded to a room with bathtubSoaking myself in the tub & doing mask before gg to bedThis staycation also packed in with breakfast Pretty good local breakfast at CarouselThe down side is that hotel pool is on renovation, but anyway, I had a relaxing night away from the chirping from birds & the noisy kids at home. Time to check-out!

 

My Melody Run SG 2019

My Melody Run SG, first ever in Singapore. As we kind of like the character, we decided to to join.

Breakdown of the eventQuick lunch at Siamese CatLe teenage friend came along with le bff for collection of race pack. The last I saw her was on NYE & man.. she is already taller than me now!Done for today. By the time it's our turn, we are already at the 4th wave

Because we happened to be right at the beginning of the starting point, we got a superb view of My Melody at the stage!

Duhz... the only water point came after the 2km mark and ... ...

THE WATER POINT RAN OUT OF WATER! WTH?! 

Runners have to buy own drink from vending machine along the way & all machines are with freaking long queue! I hope the kids & elderly did not fall sick after this event. 

Organizers/ sponsors, please have better logistics! 

Bump into an old friend towards  the end of the line cos he was waiting for his wife & kids to be back
