The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Chili's @ RWS

We were famished after spending about 2.5 hours at Trick Eye Museum, thus we quickly pick a restaurant for out late lunch. The girls decided on Chili's for the bottomless chips & beverages!

While the standard Tostada chips is served with house-made salsa, we decide on Fire Grilled Corn Guacamole with fresh avocados, cilanto, house-made pico de gallo, fire-grilled corn and Jalepenos. The Tostada Chips & salsa sauce is refillable but not the Guacamole.

For sharing - a Fajita Trio (new) with choice of Grilled Chicken, pork Carnitas (new) or Grilled Shrimp.

We didn't order a lot since the chips is bottomless & we were quite full after 3 rounds of chips!

Strawberry Lemonade which is also bottomless & I had 5 glasses of it cos I was thirsty as a Hippopotamus =D

Wefie =)

Last year when I visited this branch with Evelyn, we left after 20 mins or so without ordering (read about our experience here)

However, service has improve tremendously compared to the last time I visited this branch. Staffs were friendly & prompt in attending to our needs like requesting on ice water & wifi password. They are also fast in refilling our chips & drinks without being us asking for it. Well done for the improvement!

Night's Out - Chilis's, Fern & Kiwi

Impromptu dinner at Chili's with Cassandra & Ivy on public holiday eve. The girls had already placed an order before I arrived & the food is being served the moment I am seated.

Tostada Chips served with Salsa Sauce. The other sauce being served tasted like avocado & jalapeno. Chips is super crispy & best part of it, it's refillable

Classic (Chicken) Fajitas

Mix & Match Baby Back Ribs with Mashed Potato & Broccoli

Margarita's are 1-for-1 on every Wednesday! Since we're already had the bottomless Strawberry Lemonade, we only ordered 1 set of the Margarita. Chatted for a while before heading off to find a venue for chilling-out since I'm not scheduled to work on Labour Day

Service & food standards are kept up to standards compared to my previous visit many months ago. Well Done!

Went Beer Market but unfortunately they are full for the night

So we hop on to Fern & Kiwi

Place too dark for photos, so... ... cheers!

Angela joined us for chilling-out after her reunion dinner with her ex-colleagues. Quite a nice place with live band - Jive Talkin' taking the stage!

Chili's & Pique Nique

Meet-up with Evelyn at JCube cos I need to pass her the Tokyo Banana.

Since I've got $60 Chili's voucher for the service recovery after I commented on the unsatisfactory service we received at RWS branch last month, we decided to dine at Chili's. Restaurant was quite empty when we reach at 6pm. Service was quite prompt, probably cos it's not very busy. Both the male server that attended to us was pretty friendly, despite one of the guy being quite blur, giving us the wrong change (+$5)!

Here's the happy girl after receiving the Tokyo Banana

Evelyn has the Bottomless Beverage (Any fountain drink) $5 while I had Strawberry Lemonade $6

Evelyn's Pull Pork Burger $20

The happier girl after having the burger that she didn't get to eat last month. However, she didn't finish it cos it's slightly salty.

My Ribs & Chhicken Combo $35

hurhurhur.. didn't know there's cheese on the chicken, so gotta make do with it. Luckily the taste of the bacon covers the smell of the cheese

We decided to give Chili's Molten Chocolate Cake a miss today & head to Pique Nique for waffles instead

Evelyn needs a coffee badly, so she ordered a Latte $5

My Hot Chocolate w/Mash-mellow Cloud

I decided to turn the cloud into Casper =D

Our dessert of the night - Waffle w/Salted Caramel, which also comes with a scope of Ice cream & Cream $11.80

Hard Rock Cafe @ RWS

Supposed to go SEA Aquarium with Evelyn but her insurance has got some issue and she reach Vivo close to 5 pm after meeting with her new financial planner, so we ended up doing only dinner as the Aquarium is close at 7 pm.

Went Chili's initially, but no one attended to us after we were seated for 20 mins and even after I put up my hand, requesting for assistant! One guy in shirt (the manager I supposed) was watching TV for quite sometime, eventually walked past our table, look at me & walked away while my hand is still up & requesting for assistant! This prompts us to walk out of the restaurant! This is the first time Chili's fail me in service!

Was deciding between Hard Rock Cafe & Cocoa, and Evelyn decided on Hard Rock Cafe cos she has yet to try the one in Singapore. Service was way better in Hard Rock Cafe as compared to Chili's. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant till in-between meal, the cheerful & friendly servers were prompt in assisting your every request!

Potato Skin as starter. I quite like this even though there is cheese. Evelyn wanted to suggest ordering this but she guessed that I might suggest ordering, so she wanted to see if she's right about my taste! She know me quite well!

Evelyn had The Texan - Chipotle and Hickory Bar B Que Sauce, cheddar cheese, crispy jalapenos and crispy onions with  pulled pork.

While I had Hickory Smoked Bar-B-Que Ribs - A full rack of West Tennessee-style ribs rubbed then basted with authentic Hickory BBQ sauce with ranch beans & fresh coleslaw
There was a birthday celebration in the house & the servers got all the birthday girls to stand on the chair & gets requests for everyone in the house to sing them birthday song! Not sure if the ice-cream is compulsory, but I reckon it is cos all the birthday girls were holding a glass each!

The overall dining experience at Hard Rock Cafe was pretty pleasant!
