Most day-out with Evelyn are like going on a food trail & today alone, we went to 3 different places for food!
First on the list, we meet up at Toast Box, Resorts World Sentosa for breakfast before going to SEA Aquarium.
I was deciding between TomYum Noodle or Mee Rebus & decided on my first choice cos it comes with 2 slices of luncheon meat! Sadly, the luncheon meat was just 2 thin slice. Anyway, it's pretty good cos of the onion & lemon grass in the soup, plus lime is also given to give the soup an extra umph of sourness! Chili padi also makes the noodle slightly spicy.
Evelyn decided on "normal tasting" Laksa =D
We both prdered the set, which comes with a glass of Iced Barley.
Don't expect any service from them as it's a self-service eating place, plus the queue at ordering point is quite long, the cashier sort of like "rush" you thru the ordering by speaking so fast! Not the best place for breakfast, but there's not much choice available. But fret not, cos McDonald's & McCafe is opening soon! Yeah!!
We were then deciding on a place for late lunch after SEA Aquarium & Evelyn doesn't mind having it at Astons again, but the queue was very long at 2.30pm, so we decided to head to Vivo City for lunch. She wanted to go White Dog Cafe, but we don't seem to be able to locate it, so we ended up at The Soup Spoon
Evelyn ordered Simon and Garfunkel Chicken and Mushroom Ragout, which is pretty tasty. I quite like her soup!
She also top up to a meal with Caesar Chicken with Mushroom Wrap.
I was deciding between Mushroom or Clam Chowder, but ended up ordering Beef Goulash cos Evelyn asked me to try something new! Apart from the celery, the soup is very nice, with generous servings of beef & vegetables.
Instead of wrap, I opt for Caesar Salad this time =)
We also ordered Spicy Potato Wedges, which I forgot to take picture of it!
After lunch, we went wondering around Vivo City before heading to Gelรกre cos Evelyn is craving for dessert (or rather, waffle!)
I had Chocolate Chip Waffle with Cookies & Cream Ice Cream & Chocolate Sauce. Yums!
While Evelyn had Plain Waffle with Vanilla Ice cream & Maple Sauce.
This is definitely one of the best place for waffles! Come on Tuesday, and you get 50% off the waffles!
Went wondering at Vivo City again before heading back home =)

Ok, need to rush home to catch some beauty sleep for meeting the next day ๐
