milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Bonchon Chicken 본촌치킨

After hanging for about an hour at The Cat Cafe, we head over to Bugis+ for dinner & decided to give BonChon Chicken a try

The place was pretty crowded at 8pm on a weekday night

Menu & table setting with a metal tin container for chicken bones

Wet tissue is also provided

Jaslyn had home-made Ice Lemon Tea while I had some cocktail, which I forgot what's the name of it, but it consists of Vodka.

8 pieces of Chicken Wings in mixture of Soy Garlic & Hot Sauce. Jaslyn finds the one with hot sauce a little spicy but I don't find it so. The skin is super crispy but yet not oily. Meat is also very tender. Soy Garlic sauce has only a little hint of garlic taste. It would probable be better if the garlic taste is stronger

Tteoboki rather spicy. Noodle is nicely done but the rice cake is a little hard & chewy.

Seafood Scallion Pancake is nice. Crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. Ingredients were fresh. However, be prepared to wait a while longer for this item as they will only start preparing the batter right from scratch when you place an order.

Service is rather slow cos they seem a little under-staffed, but staffs are friendly thou. Will probably return again if in the craving for some Korean food
