2D1N at Sapa Bamboo Hotel @ USD75

Day 1 (08 Aug 12 )
Reached Sapa at abt 5.30am via overnight train from Hanoi. Since the check-in time is 1pm local time, we decided to take up local tour with Vietnam My Way Travel to Lao Chai, Ta Van & Giang Ta Chai for USD15.

Due to the rain, the route for trekking was super muddy & slippery! Thanks to the villagers, I manage to survive the terrible & horrible trekking! Can't believe I put myself in such a deep shit! hahaha


Day 2 (09 Aug 12)
Took up another day tour with Vietnam My Way Travel to Silver Waterfall, Ta Phin & Ma Tra village for USD30. The route for trekking today was much easier as it was on flat ground, plus it a sunny morning!

Went walking around the town after checking out of hotel while we wait for transport to send us to train station for overnight train back to Hanoi

Hanoi Air Ticket booked! 05 Aug - 11 Aug 12 (Sun - Sat)

Actually wanted to go on Sep 12, but since I'm not scheduled to work on National Day, Evelyn agree to change the travel date to Aug 12 so that I can save 1 day of AL! 

Cheapest airline to fly is by Jestar, which is abt $265 & Tiger Airways is abt $255.. but since Vietnam Air is $290.5, we decided to fly by Vietnam Airlines. 

We'll be going Hanoi, Halong Bay & Sapa as per Wendy's suggestion! Evelyn's not keen on taking up guided tour cos she wanna do some exploring, so she'll go check out the hotels & stuffs..
