January team bonding session!

Ching has a craving for dim sum & we decided on Little Teahouse by Soup Spoon cos it's the nearest to our outlet & we do not have to travel too far & still able to catch the last train/ bus home after the late night dinnerWe reached just in time for last order, but we were left with only about 20mins to gobble down the food cos they're closed at 11pm 😂
This self sanitize chopsticks machine damn cool! It auto dispense a pair of sanitized chopsticks right after one pair is being removed!
This time round, we're missing Carol cos she couldn't make it

Reservation was made online ONE month ahead to secure a table on Saturday!Me & Wendy reached earlier & were being led to this table. 

However, when Sam arrives, she is being led to another table by another host. When we call out to her, the host leading Sam questioned us (in a very hostile manner) on why we are seating at this table. 

When I informed her another host (pointing to the host) led us to this table, she changed her tone of voice & asked if we're ok to be seated at this table. When we reply saying we're fine with this table, she replied again, saying this table is not comfortable for 4 & so we agreed to change a table. 

She then proceeds to lead us to a table by the window.

All the dim sum were delicate & delish! They also runs a promotion of 30% off for all dim sum from Monday - Saturday (Except Public Holiday), so it's pretty pocket friendly. 

However, service has major room for improvement! Firstly, the host was hostile to us, which I mentioned earlier.

Secondly, we were led to the table beside window right? By the time we're halfway thru our meal, the sun is glaring happily at me & Theresa. None of the staff even bother to check if we need the blind to be put down. But for every new group of customers being led to tables beside the window, host automatically outs down the blind. 

Thirdly, it's very difficult to get their attention! We had to raise our hands up a couple of times before someone notices & attend to us for water refill & adding on of orders.

Oops.. no, I didn't purposely hide behind Sam to look slimmer. It's my big bag that happens to hide my tummy 😂Theresa had to rush back to work, so a quick wefie while waiting for table at Earle Swensen'sMao Shan Wang ice cream to make it a "birthday cake"Happy Belated Birthday, Sam

As I'm a little early for the reservation, I was showed to the bar/ waiting area.Selfie while waiting for the rest to arriveInterior of the restaurantStarting brunch with Chicken abalone soupAsam fish is surprisingly good.Different types of dumplingsWe were all quite full already, but when we saw the bill & the cost of the pot of tea, we decided that we should make the best value out of it & asked for 6 more times of water refill cos the pot of tea was charged at $60!! 

While we understand that the tea will be charged, we really didn't expect it to be at $10/headcount!Anyway, took some pictures at the beautiful venue after our meal.Oh yes, if you have been checking out my photos regularly, you would have noticed that Mel the birthday girl is missing from the pictures. That's cos she is quite concern of the recent C+ cases, she decided not to join us for brunch today.
