Cassie's Birthday celebration @ L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon

Woohoo ~~ it's Thursday; it's Ladies Night; it's Cassie's birthday!

We were discussing on where to celebrate her birthday and short-listed a few but couldn't settle on one. Just when I was reading RWSScoop and come across a promotion at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon , I immediately know that this will be the venue cos I remembered we passed by the restaurant when we had our stay-cation at Festive Hotel last month & the girls very much wanted to check out this restaurant. I immediately whatsapp the girls about the promotion & ding~ that's it; venue finalized! 

L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon - Kitted out entirely in black and red furnishings to streamline the signature dramatic sleek look for the Atelier concept, the restaurant also dresses its servers in black

All of us decided on the Ladies Night promotion of 4-course dinner with free flow sparkling wine/ Bellini cocktail at $88++



A basket of freshly baked bread is being served the moment we were seated






As suggested by the server, we started off the dinner with sparkling wine as it goes well with the dishes on the menu


L'amuse Bouche {Foie Gras custard with red Porto wine & Parmesan foam} ~ soft creamy foie gras underneath the foamy parmesan & wine melts in the mouth! Thou fantastic, I find it to cheesy & creamy to my liking

Le Piquillo {Piquillo with smoked eggplant and red pepper coulis} ~ I have never eaten eggplant in my 39 years of life. This is the first time I'm having it, chilled! Surprising, not bad

Le Coco De 《Paimpol》{White bean soup with bacon & golden crouton} ~ Not sure if I hear the server correctly, but it sure sound & tasted like Tom Yum soup to me .. a creamier tom tum soup with bacon & crouton

Le Saumon {Salmon with lacqured maple syrup & endive salad} ~ salmon; crispy on the outside, somewhat raw in the inside. Thinking of it, drools~~ Mashed potato on the side is smooth & creamy, a little not to my liking as well





Le Sensation {cremy aragauni chocolate with cacao sorbet & oreo cookie} ~ pure addiction for chocolate lover!



Upon finishing dessert, the staff came out with the complimentary cake which I requested when I'm doing the online reservation. They even sang the French version of birthday song =)

So yeah.. ... Happy advance birthday, Cassie

After the dinner, we changed our choice of drink to Bellini cocktail

Joseph, our super friendly & attentive server of the night. Very chirpy. Do request for his service if you're going to be there! 


The kitchen is closed for the day, thus, Joseph allows us to take picture in there =D

Few of the dishes on the ladies night menu is not quite to my liking, but the overall taste & quality of the food is superb. Service is also fantastic, with most of the staffs are prompt in attending to customers needs. Btw, the ladies night promo is here to stay & menu changes monthly. 

Good food; Great service; Nice environment; Awesome Thursday evening =)
