The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

JB | Day Trip w/Midas

Day trip to JB with Midas

Wearing my windbreaker w/hoodie cos it's raining and I'm lazy to bring an umbrella

As usual, going JB by train but we only managed to get tickets at 3pm cos we bought the tickets just 2 weeks ahead.
My JB buddy

First stop; Alley Dessert

Very instagramable; I like it that it's not too sweet
Next stop; RePatisserie, which is just 2 units away. It was also an accidental find while we wait for out dinner venue to open

We both ordered a drink, Yam Croissant & Yuzu Tart. Both pastries were delish and wished that they would do a second bake for the croissant so that we can dabao some back
Next stop; Fat Fish

Seafood pot with fish & pumpkin soup

Very fresh ingredients & pumpkin soup is also very sweet
After dinner, we went back to City Square for some shopping and try my hands at claw machine, and got 2 capybara toys

Resting out feet at CBTL while checking out loot

Mr Sotong

Ming An ConfectioneryHimmalayan Salt sweet cos le sister asked to help buyWaiting for train to get home. Thanks Midas for grabbing train ticket & searching for places to eat.

JB | Day Trip w/Evelyn

Daytrip to JB with le buddy, Evelyn

Taking bus to JB this time cos we didn't manage to get train tickets as we waited quite a while for TL to confirm our appointment at saloon to fix our hair. Can't even remember when was the last time I took bus to JB ever since I started going JB by trainHuman traffic was pretty smooth cos it's probably still early (we meet at 8.15am 😂)Didn't expect to be so smooth it only took us 30mins to cross the border, we ended up having breakfast at McD's cos nothing in planned except for hair appt at 12pm. The Nasi Lemak with Spicy Chicken is quite good & the rice is very fragrant.
Hang around at City Square mall after breakfast for a while before heading to KSL mall for our hair appt.
Main order of business for our JB daytrip.
For me is more of covering the whites & getting an even color for the hair
First time trying out purple
Doing a scalp & hair treatment too.
Not very obvious cos more on deep purple. Hopefully it doesn't gets too loud after 2 weeks of washQuick lunch at KSL. Should have went to City Square for lunch cos there isn't much food options here. And so we head back to City Square Mall for CNY shoppingVery much like me but her items are more on CNY goodies rather than popcorns. I passed her my addition bag which I brought along for her to squeeze all her items in the bag & ... ... she actually broke the zip of the bag 😂

Hair color under white light
My loots from today's daytrip ..  slightly towards the natural hue for work days
The usual Eureka Popcorns, which is actually half of what I usually buys 😂
Nonya Kuih Bangkit form Yong Seng. Theresa recommends this & asked me to help her buy more, but my bag is very full I can't fit in anymore. End up Evelyn bought 1 for me while I went toilet!
Kuih Kapit from MingAnn, so good even the doggo approvesGift set from Seasons for mum & kor
Spicy Prawn Roll, Chicken Floss Samosa & some cuttlefish from Mr Sotong
We left City Square Mall around 5.30pm hoping to beat the evening crowd & woof... we reached JB Checkpoint around 5.45pm & Woodlands checkpoint abt 6.15pm. Today's trip kind of restore my faith of travelling to JB by bus.

However, the waiting of 160 is a major turn-off cos I waited about 45mins for the bus! I could have taken 170 too but as my shopping bag is super heavy, I insisted in waiting for 160 cos I just need to cross the overhead bridge (which as a lift) & walk 1 min to my block comparing to crossing an overhead bridge which has no lift & longer distance, and still need to talk a 15 mins walk home! 😂
