Ribena Melon with lychee. Ribena sweetness was just right but watermelon in it is tasteless

Pappa Lemak w/Squid & Fried Chicken. Rice is with nice coconut fragrant; fried chicken is crispy on the outside & super tender; curry quite old-school taste; squid is also not chewy. The old down side is that the sambal is not spicy

Wanted to order Pappa Cendol but ordered wrongly & got Pappa ABC instead. A little sweet thou

Steam Otah is a little tasteless; nothing comparable to the Muar Otah.

Colleague's Chicken Chop w/fried rice

Food here was pretty good, so I reckon we will be back soon

Tuesday went 老火汤 with an acquaintance cos he went Japan & bought me Toyku Banana!  

Honestly, both of us were quite surprised that they serve quite a bit of dishes here, and surprisingly, the taste of the dishes are quite good. Service here is good too.

Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert & Just Like it! again

Back at Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert again. This time, I'm here with 2 colleagues for late lunch after doing month-end closing at work. Didn't eat alot cos we're attending company's Lunar 7th month dinner later in the evening. 

Fried Fish Skin is super crispy & the sauce on top of it is sweet. Would be nice if there's more sauce. They also add on some floss on it. 

Braised Beef Noodle. Noodles very springy & beef is very tender. Radish is also very soft. 

Colleagues had Pork & Chicken Cutlet Noodles respectively. Chicken cutlet was ok but the Pork cutlet was a little tough

Spring Roll with Prawn, Salted Egg & Century Egg. Taste a bit bland & skin is soggy, not crispy.

Since we're at Tampines1, we went over to Just Like it! for some ice-cream after the meal at Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert

This time, the cashier (manager I supposed) asked if I wanna dine in or take-away. I remember Wendy telling me the bowl is huge, I decided to dine in to check out how huge is the bowl!

Tada~~~ that's how huge the bowl is! =D

I tried the Chill Mint Chocolate Cookies. I was expecting it to come with chocolate chips but it was accompanied with oreo cookie bites. Not what I expected, but the mint ice-cream is pretty cooling; nice. 

One more huge bowl w/a regular scope of Flaky Chocolate

A little rough on the texture cos the chocolate shavings. Not very chocolaty also. I still prefer the Durian flavor ice-cream

We were siting near quite near the entrance of the store & it attracts alot of curious shoppers to our table checking out the huge bowl =D

The 2 colleagues with me. Aunty says the bowl is too exaggerating; 笑到见牙不见眼。。哈哈

Just Like It! A Revolutionary F&B

Went Tampines1 after work yesterday cos I'm supposed to meet up with EmilyG & Randy to ran some errands for EmilyL's surprised Birthday celebration for Anthony. While queuing at POSB ATM, something interesting caught my eye. 

What's so interesting? It's Just Like it! I saw quiet a few people crowding at the counter while the staffs are blending something away behind the counter, so I decided to take a closer look

A closer look at the cafe and it reveals some Science formulas on the wall. Gas cylinders are also seen. 

Pretty blenders too! 

So what's so interesting? 

Tada~~~ the Scientists (staffs) are blending Ice Cream on the spot! Quite fun looking at it =D

So I decided to give it a try while waiting for EmilyG & Randy. Bought Durian Durian & it's yummy. Thick & with lots of Durian bits!

EmilyG & Randy came after I finished the ice cream (Heng arh! Else I'ld have buy another cup of it!) Since we're at the basement, we walk over to Hong Kong Sheng Kee Dessert for a quick late lunch before heading off to ran errands.

Both Randy & myself had Golden Dust Pork Cutlet Noodle. 

Mango Sago Pomelo & Carrot Cake

Decent food; nothing much to rave about.
