milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Lei Garden, L'Atelier TiramiSu, Tang Music Box & Hon Guo

It's almost a full-day event for 5 of us! Met up with the girls (Angela, Cassandra, Ivy & Mel) from Voodoos group for a dim sum brunch at Lei Garden

It was raining heavily (like finally) when I reached.

Mel made a reservation for the second seating from 12.30 pm - 2 pm & we were ushered to our table at lower dining area the moment we stepped into the restaurant.

Ate lots of stuffs & were rather full

The girls are so engrossed in discussing the Korean Drama - 来自星星的你 .. me? Zzzzz.. lol

After dim sim, we went KTV. While th girls make their way to KTV, I detour to L'Atelier TiramiSu to buy cake for Angela, whose birthday is just 2 days ago.

This is our new-found KTV! My colleague went on previous Sunday & told me about this place!

eh, wait... am I at the correct place? Is this KTV or grocery store?

Yes! I'm at the correct place. It's the "meeting place" in the KTV! You're supposed to pick up our own tidbits & drinks here before proceeding to the room. The room we booked is for 4-6 pax (S), with cover charge of $5/pax, and so we're required to spend min $90 at this meeting place. Quite cool the concept~

ooh~ my favorite number!

Room comes with super big flat screen & a touch screen system on the wall

Snapped a picture of them while Angela goes toilet

Then I brought out the cake. I bought 5 slices - 2 Classico, 1 each of Matcha, Lyhcee & Dark Cherry. Classico proves to be the best of all.

Drinks & Chips!

Cheers!

Average spending per pax is $37, inclusive of cover & other misc charges. It's about the came price as KBox/ Party World, but with better & nicer options of drinks & chips.

We decided to do a light dinner after the KTV session before we call it a day. Went to Chinatown point & finally decide on HonGuo 红锅.All of us ordered the Hotpot set (fish/ beef/ pork ribs) which comes with preserved vegetables, beancurd skin & rice. The girls find the soup a little spicy, but I find it acceptable. I had the beef & it's quite tender.

Had an enjoyable day with the girls & will be planning for other activities soon.
