milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

The Oyster Bank | Carol's Birthday

Le bff's birthday & cos both Carol & Charlene prefers seafood, I narrow down a few Oysters place for her to choose from & Carol ended up choosing The Oyster Bank, Funan.
I managed to secure a reservation at Funan outlet for 3 pax at 6pmThe bar & the huge-ass bottle of tabascoStarting the dinner with some alcoholic drink so that we can get oysters at $2 each (up to 6pc per drink). I had Yuzu Cloud, which is very refreshingChrysanthemum Osmanthus GinAntidote No.5This is round one of our dinner situation3 alcoholic drink = 18 super fresh naked oysters at $2 each during the shucking hours!
*Shucking hours | Mon-Fri 5pm-8pm & Sat/Sun All Day!Salmon Sashimi; fresh & very thick slice!Prawn cocktail; nothing impressive 😂Hokkaido Scallop Ceviche; scallop is fresh but the dressing is a little too bland.Mentaiko Fries is the bomb, although we seriously feel it would be better if they put in a bit more sauce!
We were pleasantly surprised that complimentary sake was being served when there's a birthday celebration!Happy Birthday, Carol!
We added on more items like Beef TatakiMore oysters but this time we went for the flavored ones namely Kimchi Cucumber, Ginger Lime, Grapefruit Ponzu, Classic Mignonette & Tozazu KombuBaked Mentaiko Scallops
More drinks! I had Pop Goes the Weasel while Carol had beerSince we ordered 2 more drinks, we ordered 12 more naked oysters & also another portion of Baked Mentaiko Scallop cos it was so good!
Food was delish & service was great! Super enjoyable meal & we hope to be back soon!
