Tung Lok Singatures

Started off May'13 with a simple yet nice dinner cum Birthday celebration for Geok Ping at Tung Lok Signatures, Vivo City 









Most of the Multiply Girls are busy, so only myself, Fiona & Sam went for the celebration.

凉拌黄瓜
Quite like the appetizer although I don't like cucumber. Crunchy & refreshing

冰烧三层肉 Pork Belly $10
I'm (or rather, we?) a sucker for Pork Belly, so we ordered a plate of it! This is pretty good & it's not very fattening, with layer of crispy skin!

For the main, we ordered the Signatures Seafood Set for 4 pax (经典海鲜餐) $218 which includes the following dishes:

黄焖蟹肉鱼鳔羹 Braised Fish Maw with Crab Meat in Pumpkin Stock
Ain't a fan of Pumpkin soup, but this definitely won me over with generous serving of Crab meat& Fish Maw. 


流金沙翠盏元贝 Deep-fried Conpoy with Salted Egg-yolk served with Lettuce
Favorite dish of the night with fresh & huge Canpoy (Scallop). Love the amount of Salted Egg-yolk too!


烟薰鸭胸伴金砖 Smoked Duck Breast with Soya Beancurd
Duck rather salty & beancurd rather bland, so both must be eaten together so it compliments each other

壶底阴豉蒸顺壳鱼 Steamed ‘Soon Hock’ with Taiwan Black Bean Sauce
Fish is very fresh & I love the black bean sauce

金柱雪菌泡菜苗 Poached Seasonal Vegetables with Conpoy Crisps and mushrooms
Taste pretty good with the chicken stock broth & the crispy conpoy bites

荷香海鲜焗饭 Baked Rice with Seafood Served on Lotus Leaf
Pretty good, but I prefer the one from Paradise Inn & Ding Tai Fung. This has got cheese on the rice, which I don't fancy

万星杏莆 Chilled Dessert with Dried Apricot

Sam bought a slice of Hazelbut & Chocolate cake from Bakerzin

Pretty good dining experience with good food & prompt service
