Tulipmania - largest tulip-themed floral show ever to be held in Singapore, at Gardens by the Bay
20,000 tulips in a vibrant myriad of spring colours such as red, pink, yellow, white and purple were flown in directly from Netherlands by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, visitors can look forward to a spectacular display, along with other features such as Dutch windmills and customized wooden clogs
I was so so so excited when Sam posted the link on Tulipmania as I've never been to Keukenhof in Netherlands & I've always liked Tulips, so we decided to plan a trip to Gardens by the Bay on Sunday morning. Angeline mentioned that it was very crowded when she went on the afternoon of Labour Day, we decided to head straight to the Flower Dome when we reached at about 10.30am!
The queue wasn't very long; not sure if it's due to examination week, Malaysia's GE or it's just too early on a Sunday morning! Ticket price for the Flower Dome was $10 & together with the Cloud Forest, it was $20. Since it was Sam's virgin trip to Gardens by the Bay, we bought tickets to both the conservatories. PAssion card holders get 10% off!
It was into the 7th day when we visited the Tulip field, thus most of the Tuilips are already in full bloom & all of us started to taking pictures of the pretty Tulips & other pretty flowers! I shall now let my Nikon P7000's shutter speak! =D

The mini Tulip field here does makes me have the Holland "feel" even though I've not been to Holland before!

As per Sam, it ain't as pretty & magnificent as Keukenhof in Netherlands, but I'm still a happy girl to be able to see so many Tuplis =)
