Some random eats ... ...
Kogu & Jenny is craving for western food, thus they brought me to UNO Beef House at Toa Payoh - Western food at coffee shop in an old neighborhood

Nothing fanciful about the Mushroom Soup. Taste pretty much Campbell Soup =D

Fried Chicken Wing also nothing to rave about

Garlic Bread with spread evenly spread across the bread, but bread is a little way too soft

Mashed Potato is slightly different from others. The mashed potato here is served fried! Interesting but tasted way too creamy for my liking

Both Kogu & Jenny had Chicken Cutlet, one with rice, the other with fries. No complaints from Jenny, so I reckon it's pretty good

I had Steak & it was good. Very tender beef served with mashed potato & baked beans on hot plate. Quite a big piece & it's only $11

Vivian had the set with Century Tofu & Pig Intestine w/Meat Ball mee suah.

Mee Suah is a disappointment as the soup is very watery & tasteless

I had the set with Braised Pig Intestine & Pork Belly Rice. Gheez,.. the pig intestine is so salty & it has a very strong smell

Pork Belly Rice on the other hand is bland. The only plus point for this dish is that the pork belly is tender. Service is also non-existence

Wednesday meet up with Ivy & Cassandra for dinner at Mad For Garlic - Korea’s first garlic-themed Italian restaurant

Some cocktails to kick start the dinner =)

Sauteed Fresh Mussel in Garlic Cream Sauce. Thou cooked in cream sauce, the amount of garlic in the dish musk the creamy smell & a bit of chili makes the dish enjoyable

Assorted Seafood Rice. Basically it's fried rice with assorted seafood which are very fresh. Garlic & pepper seed makes it fragrant & delicious

Garlic Snowing Pizza with lots of fried garlic slices, topped with shrimp & pineapple. Again, the garlic slices made it fragrant & shrimps are sweet too. As I don't fancy cheese, we requested for the cheese to be placed on half the pizza

More drinks... ...

Last but not least, dessert! Only 2 choices are available. Tiramisu Cake & Garlic Berry Ice Cream. We decided to be more adventurous & go for the latter. Sweet Vanilla Ice Cream served with raspberry & blueberry & sweet garlic jelly. Pretty interesting as the garlic jelly taste quite sweet.
