Tim Ho Wan Revisit

It's been a year since our office moved to Changi & the colleagues who are staying in the West decided to "celebrate" the 1 year anniversary, as well as to reward ourselves for travelling to&fro Jurong-Changi-Jurong daily for the past 1 year 

We were discussing on what to eat & one of them suggested Tim Ho Wan, Westgate since the queue wasn't long. We were there at about 6.15pm & so we made a check on the waiting time. We were surprised that since all 3 of us are present, we do not need to wait & were immediately usher to a table



Orders were very quickly placed & were served within minutes

Rice w/Chicken Sausage & Mushroom. Nothing to rave about as it taste just like rice with light soy sauce

Beancurd Skin Roll w/Pork & Shrimp. Shrimp is fresh & the sauce is sweet. Nice

Pan Fried Carrot Cake. No difference from the last visit. Still not fragrant & has to be dipped with the condiments provided

Steam Egg Cake is still as soft & with a hint of brown sugar. Nice

Baked Bun w/BBQ Pork. Better than the last visit. It is not as wet as the one I had previously & BBQ pork are more visible & munch-able, but ... ... the portion of the filling looks like it's been reduced. What do you think? 

Pork Dumpling w/Shrimp is quite normal

Something new from my last visit. Wasabi Salad Prawn Dumpling. Not a fan of wasabi, so I would prefer the plain ones if it's available

Vermicelli Roll w/Shrimp. No complains as shrimps are fresh

Spring Roll w/Egg White


Vermicelli Roll w/Pig's Liver. This is way better than my previous try as the pork liver is very tender.

Last on the list - Prawn Dumpling, which we waited for close to 20 mins after finishing all the food that's already been served cos they forgot our order

Some good & bad points after the revisit, but still I have to say ... ... it's definitely not worth the wait if it's gonna be like an hour or more.
