Lam Family's 团圆饭

As usual, since I'm staying at sister's place, I also join them for their reunion dinner. This year, we're having steamboat again

The previous hotpot is with sister's friend, so she bought a new induction cooker

We also bought cute plates from Daiso for the kids

This year, sister's SIL offered to prepare the broth & she also bought some stuffs for steamboat, prepared herbal chicken & 2 cans of abalone over for dinner



The prawn was still quite fresh despite it was being kept in freexer for more than a month! How to keep the freshness? Cut off the fillers & the sharp end on the head, wash & pat dry with kitchen towel, sprinkle some sugar & store in container.

What's steamboat without CP Shrimp Wonton?

and the best dip for steamboat? homemade smelly belacan (the smellier the better) & sesame sauce





This year, sis asked Mum & her boyfriend to join us for dinner as well

haha.. The greedy boy!
