The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Beng Hiang Restaurant & CBTL Beanstro, MBS

TGIF! Meeting Angeline, Sam & Theresa for dinner. Cos Sam just got back from her 2 weeks holiday in Switzerland and she is in serious need of Chinese food, so yes... another feasting session at Beng Hiang Restaurant Pte Ltd (Hokkien cuisine)!

Since Drexler (Theresa's hubby) is on leave, he tag along with Theresa, together with their daughter Alyssa & also brought along Alyssa's bff

Ooh.. it's a very traditional Chinese restaurnat

While waiting for our food to be served, we munch on some yummy chocolates which Sam bought from her trip

Ngoh Hiang & He Zho (fried prawn ball). Sadly, both doesn't impress me. While the ngoh hing is lack of water chestnut (not sure if hokkien version has water chestnut thou), the fried prawn ball can't really feel the prawn

Fish Maw soup is alright, with lots of ingredients & the broth is thick

Broccoli with Scallops. Scallops are fresh, fat & juicy

Roast Chicken. We were expecting a small chicken but the size of the chicken socks us. Nevertheless, chicken is tender with crispy skin

Fried Oyster is good, with fresh oysters & super crispy omelette.

Kong Bak Bao. While the braised pork tasted pretty sweet, the bun is soft but not fluffy.

Hokkien Mee. Not fantastic & erm... looks kind of disgusting here =D

Too much I reckon?!

Yes! We over-ordered (for the first time!) & end up tabao-ing half the chicken, half the noodles & few kong bak bao =D

Complimentary dessert. A little too sweet for our liking

After dinner, we went Beanstro by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf @ MBS for coffee & dessert session =D

Ending Friday night with a sweet note with my Evil Sisters =)
