Hoshino Coffee

Met up with the BFF last night cos I have not met her since CNY & she has lots of complains about her boss to tell me! Since her current work place is at SOTA, we decided to meet up at Plaza Singapura. She brought me to Hoshino Coffee located at the new wing. Hoshino Coffee specialized in hand drip coffee & soffle-styled pancake.

Although we were 4th in the queue, we waited to close to 20 mins to be seated. While in the queue, the server handed us the menu & a order chit. He also informed us that the pancake which we ordered will take about 20 mins to prepare, so we told him to inform kitchen to start preparing as soon as our main dish is being served.

They have an electronic beeping system on the table, but we didn't have the chance to use it cos the staff was pretty prompt in service.

Ice water & cutlery were being served almost immediately we were seated. We didn't have to wait very long for our mains to be served as well. Not much choice of mains available thou.

BFF's Lobster Bisque Soup Spaghetti $16 

I had a sip of the soup before Carol mix in the cheese. It taste pretty good. 

My Clam Chowder Soup Spaghetti $16

The clam chowder soup is pretty thick & there's quite a bit of cheese also. I'll probably ask them to remove the cheese if I were to order this again

French Toast with Syrup & Cream (dusted with Icing Sugar) $9.80 for Carol's dessert

Toast is cut into smaller pieces and part of the toast are very well toasted. It doesn't turn soggy even when we pour in the entire small jug of maple syrup. Cream is light & it doesn't have the

I opt for Pancake (Soffle-styled) with Mango & Softee $13.50

Soft & thick fluffy pancake with plain softee. Mango served here are the sour & hard type.

Snapped this while waiting for Carol to settle the bill at the cashier. 

Overall dining experience here is pretty good. However, do take note that they do not take reservations. Be there early if you do not want to be caught in the snaky queue.
