milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

TCC @ Vivo City

Angeline's back from her Bangkok trip & wanted to have a belated birthday celebration with Theresa, so Sam & myself joined them for dinner. We were back at TCC, but this time at the newly opened branch at Vivo City

When I reach at 6.30pm, the restaurant is still quite empty, so I didn't have to wait long for the staffs to get a table for 7 pax.

We were slightly disappointed that this branch only offers 2 choices of soup on their menu, but we were quite glad that the main dishes we wanted to try was available, and the taste was pretty good.

Again, we ordered the Mentaiko Shrimp Martini cos Angeline have yet to try this item!

Calamari Rings - Sam find the batter was slightly thick. I like the tangy sour sauce dip that comes with it.

Since we ordered the Buffalo Wings few days back, we ordered Spicy-hot Wings this time round. Sam finds the spicy dip a little too spicy.

Alyssa wanted Ham & Cheese sandwich, but she ended up eating only the chips & less than half the sandwich. Theresa had to pack the balance for her hubby.

Sam & I ordered Tobiko Scallop Pasta with Japanese Soy Sauce. I quite like this cos the taste is light & doesn't have the salty soy sauce taste. However, I still prefers either spicy/ tomato base pasta.

Angeline ordered Mushroom & Ham pasta cos Jayden requested for it, but he end up not eating it. Poor Angeline has to eat the entire plate!

Theresa had her usual Seafood Aglio Olio. This is also my usual choice.

Hello, Bunny! Sam ordered this cos it looks so cute & pretty for photo taking, but she says it's a little bland

When we asked for straws for the kids, the server even goes down to little details like using a napkin to hold the straw when passing it to Angeline. Very good hygiene practice!

The only downside of this visit is that Theresa lost her membership card & is still waiting for the replacement card to be process, so we couldn't enjoy the birthday discount.

Apart from that lack of soup selection & the birthday discount issue, we still enjoys the dinner with good food & excellent service.

Again, TCC has not failed my service expectation! Well done, Team @ the newly opened Vivo City branch!

We'll be back at TCC for more!
