Cassandra's birthday is just around the corner and thus we had a simple celebration with her. She requested for tapas and so I suggested East 8 Tapas Grill & Bar since I have e-vouchers on The Entertainer
Made a reservation via Chope and we were given the seat above all! However, this seat proves to be one the lousier seat in the restaurant cos it was very hot & stuffy.Yuzu Miso ScallopGarlic Tiger PrawnCream Drunken Chicken - I don't quite like this from my previous visit, so I only ate the veggiesWings & KicksMiso Chilean SeabassScallop, Ebiko & Egg with Angel HairFoie Gras Pizza - Too cheesy & taste kind of weird for my likingBaked Lobster Dynamite - a little cheesy but taste pretty goodLime Buttered Crispy CrabA.L.T (Avocado, Lemon & Tuna)Soy Yuzu BeefMelting Pork SliderSpiced Fries with Sweet Chili Aioli
No doubts the tapas here are pretty good since I have already been here twice before this and had already almost 80% of the items on the menu! It was a nice place for chilling out with friends too.
Of cos, birthday must have cake right? Mel went for her hair treatment at FEP and thus I got help to help buy a cakeCheers for our friendship; cheers for weekendLast year, there was only 5 of us, but this year JJ joined us in celebrating Cassie's birthday.
Happy Birthday, Cassie!
As mentioned, I utilized the e-vouchers from The Entertainer & thus we got 6 out of 12 tapas for free. With that, we saved close to $120 for our meal =)
