Jamie's Italian, Fruit Paradise

It's Hazel's birthday this month, and she has chosen Jamie's Italian for the lunch meet up venue.

We've been wanting to try Jamie's Italian since it's opening back in Jul'13 but it was always fully booked. I managed to secure a seating over the weekend

We were seated at the bar while waiting for everyone to arrive before we can be seated

Kids were given some stickers, badge & coloring kit for entertainment

At the corner of the restaurant was a little retail corner as well as an area for preparing in-house pasta

Decor & table setting is kept to the minimum

Our table for 12! Oh wait... ... did I see Royce paper bags?

Yes! Birthday girl bought everyone of us Royce chocolate bar & a little thank you note.

Hee.. finally a slightly proper picture of Warren =D

Myself, Sam, Angeline & Fiona ordered a few appetizers for sharing. First on the list, Baked Mushrooms. Too cheesy for Sam & my liking. Thus, Angeline & Fiona whacked the entire plate!

Crispy Squid is good. Pair well with garlicky mayo & lemon

Crab & Avocado Bruschetta. Nothing to rave about

Angeline's Rump Steak (220g); Tender juicy steak served with garlic & parsley butter, rainbow coleslaw with natural yoghurt & skinny fries.

Fiona's Lamb Chop Lollipop is served with a creamy artichoke & mint sauce, roasted nuts, chilli & fresh mint.

Myself & Sam had Grill Pork Chop. marinated & cooked under a brick with parsley bagna cauda, apple, kohlrabi, lemon & crispy crackling. Although a little dry on some part of it, it is still pretty tender despite of the thickness (about an inch). Love the amount of fats & the crackling skin under it =)
