Hello November :) 

Gotta be more deligent in posting Frostie's pictures... so here's some snapshots taken this month

8 Nov 14: Sleeping on my lap while I blog & play games on facebook.9 Nov 14: Sis went market & while I lazy infront of lappie, she again jump up & happily laze on her cushion (or rather, my tummy)Happily uses my arm as her pillow11 Nov 14: Seriously, this boy loves disturbing her. Sigh.. luckily so far she has yet to snap on him18 Nov 14: Again, squeezing into the chair im in. The moment she squeeze in, I knew she's asking for neck massageSee.. I told you! The moment I stop, she gives me the "why you stop? Continue please..." look 22 Nov 14: Again using my tummy & thigh as cushionShe finally shifted to the next armchair after using my as cushion for almost an hour!

23 Nov 14: Super impromptu snap cos all of them squeezing togetherDamien talking to his bff =D **Opps... sis got squashed in the face by Frostie.. hahahaFew moments later when everyone else walks away.... ...Hmpf.. win already! Stand on my thigh than sleep!

Doraemon Tree @ One Raffles Place

Hello Doraemon fans ~

By now I'm sure many of you would have known that there is a Doraemon Christmas Tree at One Raffles Place. Since I'm on leave & out for Hi-Tea session with the feasting sisters at Anti:dote, we head over to One Raffles Place to take a look

Wah.. wah.. wah... The talk-about Doraemon Tree!Must wefie!and selfie lah of cos!Eh, can you spot a odd one? hee... hee... my itchy hand went to meddle with one of Doraemon's sants hat. After snapping picture of it, I quickly put it back & the security uncle saw what I did. Luckily he just smileThen we went up to level 3 to get a shot of the tree from top view. So pretty it looks more like a cake!haha... another selfie with the cake look-alike tree. Seriously, damn scared the security uncle will scream at me cos I back-bend my head out of the railing =D

Anyway, there's this guess the Doraemon contest going on at Instagram. Guess the number of Doraemon used to build the tree, post your answer with a picture of the Doraemon tree & hashtag #ORP

Relaxing Hi-Tea @ Anti:dote, Fairmount Singapore

It was a relaxing Wednesday afternoon cos I took annual leave to meet up with my foodie sisters for HiTea at Anti:dote, Fairmont Singapore

Very stylish & modern designVery pretty table waresHiTea set comes with 1 selection of coffee/tea from the $11 selection, but it's refillable. Here's Angeline's latte cappuccino Sam's Hot ChocolateBoth myself & Wendy had tea. Can't remember what Wendy had, but I had Pink Flamingo (blend of green tea & hibiscus)A wefie while waiting for our food to arrive.

Wendy & myself had The Anti:dote Tea Set while Angeline & Sam had Oriental Tea Set. The only difference between the 2 sets is the first course that's being served. 

Anti:dote set is being served with The Anti:dote black truffle scrambled eggs & Oriental set is being served with Shrimp har gau, chive dumpling, scallop siew mai

~ Strawberry gateau, raspberry, lychee pearl ~ Apple delight, almond crumble ~ Karukera chocolate mirror tart ~ Earl grey éclair ~ Anti:dote rum baba ~ Yuzu macarons ~ Handmade truffles ~ Chocolate-dipped strawberries

Most items are rather sweet, so be prepared! Good if you have real sweet tooth

In the first drawer: Sandwiches
~Smoked salmon, crème fraîche, caviar ~ Cucumber and dill salad, cream cheese ~ Prosciutto, onion jam, aged cheddar ~ Boston lobster roll, herb mayonnaise ~ Coronation curried chicken

While Cucumber & dill salad are bleh to me, the rest of the items are passable

Second drawer
~ Warm raisin and candied ginger scones ~ Lemon, basil pound cakeLast drawer
~Homemade strawberry jam ~ Devonshire clotted cream ~ Lemon curd

Both scones are good & it specially good with the jam & lemon curd. Not a fan of clotted cream, thus didn't try it but the girls find it good. Pound cake pretty good too. Cookie is individually packed so that you can bring it home

Took a wefie at the photo-taking booth at Raffles City. You can also print out the wefie as there is free photo-printing booth, but... ... it's only for WeChat users, so we just snap picture & leftAngeline went off to meet her friends for dinner while we make our way to One Raffles Place for Doraemon Tree!
