milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

We-fie: The power of monopod & mobile remote

Ooi, Eeling~ photobomb arh!

7 Evil Sisters

The scene behind using of monopod =D

The girl who is always ready & the girl who is always shying away from camera

Kid's Menu: Deep-fried Prawn w/sesame in Mayo Dressing

Kids Menu: Wok-fried Japanese Pearl Rice w/Smoked Duck & XO Sausage. Kid's Menu at $32++ also comes with Orange Juice & Dessert

As for the adults, it's an 8-course lunch comprising of 13 dishes in tasting portion for $68++ (*menu changes monthly)

Refreshing Lemongrass Drink w/Basil Seeds is available for additional $5++

Chef Special Soup of the Day

Tuna Tartar marinated w/Fresh Mango served in Cone; Baby Abalone in Thai Style.

Quite like how the abalone is being served.

Pan-seared Hokkaido Scallop in Black Bean Sauce; Vietnamese Roll w/Sliced Lobster in XO Chili Sauce. Personally I don;t fancy Vietnamese roll as the vegetables in there are quite raw. Love the big fat juicy scallop thou

Deep-fried Prawn w/Crispy Cereal; Steam Egg Chawanmushi w/Crab Meat. Love how the roe adds a crunchy texture to the chawanmushi. Cereals on the prawn is super tasty I polish it off to the very last bit!

Steam Cod Fillet w/Yunnan Ham & minced Ginger in Lotus Leaf, but where's the lotus leaf? =D

Wok-fried Cubes of Beef Tenderloin in Black Pepper Sauce w/Pan-seared Foie Gras. Beef cubes are tender while foie gras is creamy. Sauce is peppery yet not too overwhelming.

For those who do not consume beef, it was being replaced by Teriyaki Chicken. Hazel's portion of chicken was not very well cooked & we were pretty surprised that they did a service recovery on the spot by replacing a new portion to her!

Braised Japanese Ramen w/Crab Meat & Shredded Chicken served in Chicken Broth; Wok-fried Japanese Pearl Rice w/Smoked Duck & XO Sausage. Ramen tasted very "mee suah" to me but the broth is very sweet while the Rice is by far the best fried rice I've tasted with very fragrant sausage.

Forest Delight - desserts comse as a 'surprise" as the actual item is not listed on the menu. We had Mango Pomelo & Pandan Cake.

As we were celebrating Fiona's birthday, Sam requested for a birthday cake when she made the reservation

The happy girl =)

We-fie with the help of monopod

I also "invited" Fiona's favorite cartoon character to join us in her celebration
