milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Covid-19 Vaccine

Registered my interest for Covis-19 vaccination & finally got message from MOH to make an appointment!
Ok, all set!
I'm lucky to get a slot at Choa Chu Kang Community Club which is within 15-20 mins walking distance. Sis only managed to get a slot at Yew TeeSimple question-air done before queue number was given, information sheet was given and the jab was also done within seconds. 30 mins of observation is required after the jab & after that you're free to go!I was stuck in the rain, and so I went for a quick meal at McDonald's
Not much discomfort from the jab and everything was done as per normal for the rest of the 2-3 days
3 weeks past and it's time for 2nd jab. Same procedure during 1st jab applies. Yes, I'm done with 2 jabs & vaccination will take full effect in 14 daysThis time round got freebies of 50pc disposable mask, 1pc reusable mask & a bottle of sanitizerWent to buy lunch for the family before heading home
I was told by many that they experience a lot of discomfort, especially fever. For me, I only feel super sleepy on the first & 2nd day after the jab. As well as some numbness around the jab area which I easily get rid of it by applying hot compression to the area. Luckily there wasn't any fever at all.

Although it is not a full-proof that the vaccine is 100% effective, at least it will not be that serious if you really gets infected.

So for those who have yet to vaccine, please make an appointment to get yourself vaccinated soon.
