Ming Kee Live Seafood

Lunch with bosses & customer. 

Colleague drove all the way to MacPherson for Crab Bee Hoon cos this is acknowledged as one of the best in Singapore

The environment is quite old-school but cozy.

Appetizers - braised peanuts, achar & guava


Stir Fried Kailan with Crispy Fish Skin, Kailan has the wok-hei taste & crispy fish skin is super crisy & it doesn't have the fishy smell. 


Bamboo clam is nicely steamed, not too chewy. Garlic on opt of it is also sweet. Nice


Fish Maw Soup which I couldn't really figure out where is the fish maw.


Smoked Duck & Coffee Spare Ribs. Both are good.


Clams Steam HK Style. Gheez... this is the very first time I had clams steamed! Not bad leh


Kang Kong ok, no wow factor


Here comes the "main dish" - Crab Beehoon. While the crab is very fresh, the beehoon is full of the crab flavor. 


Lastly, Yam Paste. Personally, I find it too oily & not enough coconut milk, but overall still ok. We also tabao one more yam paste for the girls in the office
