milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Tony Romas & Fatty Fong Restaurant - Kogu's Birthday

Kogu's birthday falls on Monday & had a mini-celebration on Sunday evening at Tony Roma's upon his request

We were seated in the main dining area initially but requested to be shifted to the brighter corner of the restaurant but soon regretted cos the sofa seat is too low.

Some starters to kick off the dinner

Potato Skin ($10.90) with mozzarella cheese & bacon - Potato skin is super crispy & despite the amount of cheese, I whack quite a bit of it cos of the bacon

Mozzarella Sticks ($9.90) - Not a fan of cheese but the cheese sticks has got no stinky cheese smell too.

(Half) Onion Loaf ($9.90) - Still as yummy as ever. Crispy on the outside & slightly soft on the inside

Complimentary bread was served after we have placed our order. The bread used to be served on a mini chopping board for you to cut on your own but now, it was served on a stand. We still prefer the old way of then presenting the bread on the table

BBQ Half Chicken with coleslaw & corn on cob for Jenny

Regular Rack Baby Back Ribs with Ranch Beans & Broccoli ($31.90) for the birthday boy

Steak & Southwestern Chicken combo with Mashed Potato & Corn on Cob ($34.90) for Nizam

Steak & Ribs Combo with Broccoli & Corn on Cob ($38.90) for me

Asked for medium rare but I supposed this is more like medium. Nevertheless, it was still good.

Introducing Nizam, my friend who eats corn on cob using fork & knife

While I eat it off the stick =D

Birthday Boy =)

The manager on duty specially arranged a complimentary dessert for Kogu cos they used to work together at Orchard Tony Romas some 15 years ago!

Complimentary dessert - Apple Crisp

We also ordered Chocolate Avalanche ($13.90) which is a little disappointing as the Molten Lava Cake does not have any lava flowing out & the cake is slightly hard

We also order some mocktails cos it's buy 2 get 1 free!

While settling the bill (Thanks Nizam for the treat!), the cute stones on the plants caught my eye!

The next day, Kogu called us out for dinner again cos Keeren wants to eat cereal chicken from Fatty Fong Seafood Restaurant.

The amount of chili for 6 adults

The handsome boy with his favorite Cereal Chicken

Squid in Chili Crab Sauce (only available upon request)

Deer Meat *oops blur...

Broccoli with Scallops. Seriously, the scallop is even bigger than broccoli!

Spinach with Abalone Musroom

Fish Maw Soup

haha.... so dirty!

Beancurd with Prawns & Broccoli in seafood broth.

Salted Egg Prawn

Prawn-paste Chicken

Yes, I know... that's a lot of food for 6 adults!

But look at the aftermath!

My cute & handsome young date =)

The went over to Kogu's shop cos he needs to do something.

If you're new to my blog, my friend here is the stall owner to this 2 stalls at Blk 58 Market Place at Bedok South/Upper Changi. He's also the only young Indian chap who runs a fish stall at Chinese market! He sells mainly Salmon Trout, Cod Fish, Sheng Yu & some premium Japanese sashimi.
