$50 worth of paper tulips!

saw this bunch of students doing their part under the hot sun for the Children's Cancer Foundation on my way to Kogu's house for mahjong yesterday...

before they can approach me, i immediately went over to do my part.. initially i only picked 15pc ($30), but the guy says he dun have enough change for me as all the $ from the sale is in the metal container.. so i told him to pick another 10pc to make up to $50.. on top of that, i oso bought a collar pin @ $2 but i gave the girl $5 cos i got no small change, & she insisted i take another collar pin

suddenly i realize im becoming more & more kind-hearted.. issit becos im old oredi? hahahahahahaha

12 Jun 2010 - Kogu's first Father's Day yday, so tt's the excuse for him to "organize" mahjong session.. as usual, he's the chef for the night of yday's dinner

28 Jun 2010 - eating out at tze char stall used to be our weekly affair... ... after being promoted to papa, Kogu prefers to eat at home.. and obviously he enjoys cooking for us! since we're all eating at his place, mahjong becomes our weekly affair again!

Thanks for always feeding us good food!

The Big O

It's been 3 weeks since i last met up with carol.. its so nice of her to go all the way to Central to buy the sticky sweets for me..  before heading to The Big O for dinner, passed by CH'C'LATE RESEARCH FACILITY & bought 4 bx of chocolate! 

great time catching up with her, and hope she's feeling better now.. & hope she got a better job soon.

Back to Bang

my "kiew mor" is happily doing the "fashion show" cos the last time i visited Peter @ Twister HGM was in Jan'10 (before CNY)... ... so it's time to get rid of them!

but he left both ends a little longer, so its not completely straight
