My handsome teenage friend's birthday is just around the corner!

We used to celebrate his birthday together when he was younger but as he grows older & the hectic comes along, we can't really keep up with the weekly/ monthly meetings, let alone birthday celebration. Thus, I'm keeping the tradition of getting him a birthday cake yearly. 

This year's cake selection is Burnt Basque Cheesecake from Bake Shop Boys cos the last time I ordered Strawberry cheesecake from them for my nephew's birthday, everyone at home was full of praise!On time delivery!Birthday boy with his cake, which his review was creamy & not too cheesy, just nice for his liking.Happy Birthday, Keeren & may you be blessed with all the good things in life.

 

Buta Kizoku | Dinner w/bff

Dinner with le bff landed us at the newly opened restaurant, Buta Kizoku at Bugis Junction. This restaurant takes over the space of our favourite shabu place, Wagyu More.

Sake cocktails. I had the one with peach while le bff had the one with lychee. Can't remember the name thou.Salmon mentaiko don is kind of disappointing cos the salmon are all mashed up instead of slice/ cubes.Skewers were on promotion, at $1.90 eachMeats are tender & quite pocket friendly with the promotion price for skewers.Ending the night with a selfie with le bff on the train 😘

Crochet Cup Cozy - another impromptu crochet piece that came into my mind while catching up drama.

Using tumbler to test it out.But sadly, it doesn't fit the cup at work cos it's of a different shape. Need to do another one that fits this cup shape.
