The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Catalunya - Brunch w/Passion

Yet another celebration for Sam's birthday.
Sam had chosen Catalunya, a contemporary Spanish restaurant situated at the newly-built The Fullerton Pavilion for brunch. Heehee... a selfie while waiting for Sam & WendyAssortment of bread is being placed on every table for the brunchA guide for every guest to fully enjoy the brunch. Now, here's where the atmosphere of the entire brunch session turned lively! Staffs brought out Paella from the kitchen with musics at the background.
Each table were given a portion of the Paella. Very delishAlso, Salt Crusted Whole FishThou fresh, I find it a tad salty. Of cos lah.. just look at the amount of salt used! Then of cos, the Suckling Pig! I didn't managed to snap a picture of the piglet cos we were seated quite far away, but I managed to videoed a small part of the cutting process here
The piglet is so soft it can be cut using plates. And the plates will be thrown on the floor, symbolizing good service =)
The lively atmosphere continues with staffs coming out of the kitchen, serving up dessertsThis has been the best brunch venue so far, with friendly staffs & lively atmosphere. It was indeed a pleasure brunching at Catalunya and we'll definitely be back soon!Once again, Happy Birthday Sam =)

Dolce Tokyo Cafe, 313 Somerset

Sam's birthday is round the corner, thus, Joanna initiated a dinner date. Sam suggested Dolce Tokyo at 313Somerset, a Japanese - Italian Cafe managed by Ministry of Food
Restaurant is probably only 10% occupied on a weekday eveningJoanna bought a cute little cupcake for Sam from Twelve Cupcake but ... ... hey, what's with the flag lah?! So "National Day" can? hahahaha Anyway, Happy advance birthday, SamWe ordered an Assorted Toast for sharing. Personally, I find the toast a tad soft & the toppings are quite bland but tasted better with the oil & vinegarSam's Unagi BentoJoanna's Egg Benedict with MushroomMine is Unagi Omu Curry Rice. Pretty good, but too little Unagi.Us =)Since there's lots of desserts available on the menu, we decided to order desserts. However, the desserts were quite disappointing with most ingredients being not fresh.

Latitude ~ AFamily dinner

Another AFamily dinner cos Nizam's girlfriend is back from Canada and he wants to bring her to ONE°15 Marina Club
Aha~ Keeren is joining us for dinner tonight

Cheeky Boy

Giant egg at ONE°15

After showing Irene around, we went for dinner at Latitude. They are still serving semi-buffet for dinner. However, the spread was quite limited as compared to the last time we went in Jul'14

I only took prawns & clams cos salmon was being wiped out too fast as they only replenish a little at a time

Nizam & my choice of main dish was Black Angus beef, which was very nicely done

Irene & Jenny has prawn Spaghetti w/lemon cream sauce. No complains from Jenny but Irene finds it a tad sour

Kogu's choice - Pork Lion. I tasted a bit of it & it was superb!

Dessert was way too disappointing! Apart from fruits, a mouse cake, these are the only dessert available. Cookie was good but the so-called French pastries turns out to be pandan cake & banana cake!

Written a feedback to the restaurant & hopefully the next time we go, the selections for the semi-buffet will be better

My favorite cheeky boy =)
