The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

7th Month Praying in Office

It's the annual lunar 7th month praying in the office. For the past few years, we have been ordering buffet from Delihub for the praying & then had dinner at the main office.

However, there will not be any dinner organized for this year. Thus, they ordered buffet separately for staffs consumption & ordered few dishes from the nearby tze char stall for praying.

Lunch was catered from Chili Padi Catering. By the time we went for lunch, nothing much was left for CS. All the warehouse PRCs whacked a mountain full of food on their plate! The only dish left untouched is the Chap Chye! The rest of the dishes are almost gone!

The other dish left untouched is the Kueh Pie Ti cos it's also part of vegetable =D

Satay .. only 3 pieces left for 6 of us

Longan drink also left untouched

Nonya Kuehs, that's all it's left for 6 of us

After lunch, we went out to help with the burning of joss papers

The urn too small

The papers too much!! So much till we took about 3 hours just to remove the plastics, strings & bands... and by the time we left office, one of the guy is still burning after burning it for the past 5 hours!

This year, the main office also engaged "sai-gong" to do some prayers

Alamak, this May... the more she helps, the more mess she creates!

Haha... someone asked her to pose with 2 bug Huat Kuehs so that she can feel the pressure of big boobs =D

Someone in the team exclaimed "oh, Chicken!" .. when we turn around & look at her, she replied "oh no.. it's piggy".. =D=D=D

Who's the pig head? =D

Then yes, I am asked to chop all the roast pig, roast pork, roast duck & roast chicken. Why the face? Cos I'm using a fruit knife to chop all these mentioned items!

huhuhuh... success! Managed to chop all the roasted items using that fruit knife!

Then we went back to office to split the stuffs from the praying box which I shared with May

She wanted the storage box, so I stuff my bag silly cos my recycle bag is packed with all the roasted meats already. Duhdz.. this bag really lives up to it's name of Neverfull!

Golden Mile Food Center - ATeam's Dinner

We meet up for impromptu dinner again. Went Golden Mile food center after running some errands with Kogu & Jenny at Little India.

While trying to figure out what to eat, this signage "Design Your Own Gourmet Pasta" caught my attention

Savis - Pasta & Chops are barely opened for a month! Here, you are able to create your own pasta by choosing your pasta base, type of pasta, type of vegetables, meat and/or seafood. Pasta sauce are made daily using only the freshest ingredient and pasta are prepared individually.

Menu is not very intense, but good enough for hawker center stall

Another cool marketing technic here! Like their Facebook page & get a free Mushroom soup

Nothing to rave about on the mushroom room

Jenny is lazy to customized her own pasta, ordered the default - Seafood Marinara Pasta

I customized mine: Penne ($3) with Pesta Sauce + Asparagus ($1) + Prawns ($3) + Calamari ($3) + Caviar ($2) = $12

Penne was done al dente but couldn't really taste the pesto sauce. I wanted broccoli but it was sold out. Thus I added asparagus, which I find it a little overcooked & had somehow lost the crunch. Prawns were fresh & sweet. I was quite disappointed when the calamari turns out to be fried. Caviar thou kind of tasteless, adds an extra crunch to the pasta. Definitely has some room for improvement, but quite good for the price tag.

Truffle Fries, hmmm.... no smell & taste of truffle oil

Kogu & Nizam had Curry Fish Head. I didn't ask for the stall name but it was from a Chinese stall. Pretty good.

Kogu also ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken from the same stall & it's quite yummy. Sweetness & sourness was just right & it was very tender

Satay, also from a Chinese stall. Very tender & gravy was very thick but lack of peanut fragrant

Fried Chicken is very tasty & crispy!

I know right! Again, food for 4 pax which yes... it's a lot! =D

Last but not least... ... let us take a wefie first cos someone here needs to do some reporting & I'm the monitress that's in-charge of taking attendance =)

ATeam Kid No.3!

Woohoo~ ATeam meets for dinner again. We usually have impromptu meet up, but tonight we meet for a reason. We're going to meet the ATeam Kid No.3 after dinner!

Since we're going Thomson Medical after dinner, we're back at 881 Hong Kong Street Chun Tat Kee. It's been a long time since we last came. We used to be here almost every Sunday cos the boss happens to be Kogu's friend.

Dishes we had for dinner - Slice Fish with Spring Onion (fish slices are fresh, but do be careful cos it might have bones); Chai-po Omelette; Stir-fry Kai Lan (Very good wok-hei) ; XO Fish Soup (w/o milk cos I don't take milk); Yam Ring (very tender yam!); Salted Egg Prawn & Salad You Tiao. Food stuffs here are pretty good, but since it's tze char stall, don't expect service lah.. =D

My happy friend cos Yam Ring is one of his favorite dish!

By now, you must be wondering, so much food? For how many pax?

Yes! Food for 5! A lot huh? I know lah.. that's how all of us ends up with this size! haha

Next stop ~ Thomson Medical Centre! 5 years ago, we were camping here, waiting for the arrival of Keeren. Tonight, we're here to visit Prakash Jr =)

Daddy Prakash doesn't quite wants the whole world to know the details, so ... ... only pictures.

Now, presenting... ... Prakash & Fizah's not-so-little bundle of joy =)

"Not-so-little"? haha... check out the weight above.. it's above 4 kg!

Prakash's signature grouchy look =D

ok, at least now he's smiling =)

Oops.. angry? cos Nizam keeps disturbing him

Happy parents; The Rao family

Uncle Nizam. Baby cries when passed over to him. Bully =D

Kogu with his signature Papa pose! He had the same pose 5 years ago with Keeren & 2 years ago with Heeran

A selfie with baby who's sleeping soundly when passed over to me. Probably I've got big cushion on my tummy =D

Baby also cries when passed over to Jenny, so no picture of her with baby

We left after staying for awhile to let mummy Fizah rest. Both mummy & baby are doing well as of now.

Once again, Congrats Prakash & Fizah on the arrival of Prakash Jr.
