milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

First-attempts of baking

A little collection of my many first-attempts!

First on the list, Pineapple Tarts with recipe & method from Angeline

Using my mini conventional oven

Tried doing the open-faced tarts but no proper tools, so I use the Damien's milk bottle cover. haha
A little ugly, but for first attempt, not bad lah. Haha
Next, Egg Roll with recipe I found online.. taste not bad.. but again, looks not nice lah..
Cannot roll cos too hot, so I folded them. Doesn't looks very nice but taste good =)
Next, Fried Shredded Imitation Crabstick
Just defrost, air-dry & fry

Pork Floss Roll
Ingredient: Spring roll skin, pork floss, egg
Method:
1) Place some pork floss in the middle of the spring roll skin
2) Fold & roll it up, seal it with egg white
As simple as ABC again.. so I got Daryl to help! and as usual, I got our maid to fry it!
A little burnt at the side. heehee

Sugared Icing Popiah Skin
Ingredient: spring roll skin, margarine (or egg white) & icing sugar
Method - spread the margarine on the spring roll skin;
roll it up; cut it; fry it & sprinkle with icing sugar
