milkfrost's world

The brand new virtual world of Milkfrost - formally (milkfrost.multiply.com)

The reason why this blog is created is because Multiply.com is shutting down & all posts will be removed. Some posts here are back-dated from Aug 2004 - Aug 2012! I'm just doing a screen-shot & re-posting slowly cos it ain't easy to import every single photo. Therefore, only thumbnails are available for viewing, which also explains the white background & the little note at the end.

Sunday Morning Walk

Good Morning, Sunday!

It's been long time since I went for Sunday Morning Walk cos I've been actively having lunch/hi-tea date & Evelyn's been quite busy too. Since I'm free over the weekend, I accompanied Ivy for a walk.

Brought out my Crocs which I have no worn them for at least 3 years!

First on the list - Labrador Nature & Coastal Walk

haha.. Evelyn & I used to do silly things like this!

Along the way, there's this group of students & I supposed they're on some guided tour. The guide is quite entertaining & when I laugh out too loud, he look up & say Hi to us

I reckon we didn't really cover the entire area cos we took quite short time to finish

Walk over to McDonald's ARC to get my energy drink (Ice Milo) before continuing our walk

Alexandra Arch - seriously, they should schedule some maintenance here. It's so dirty!

Walked over to Hort Park cos Ivy has not been there before

2 students posing & snapping pictures non-stop!

A pair of newly-weds are there also

Head on to the Forest Walk

View from Henderson Waves

We're 63.46m above Sea level

Hoho.. head on to Marang Trail

And finally ended our walk opposite Vivo City

We took about 3 hours, but like I mentioned, I reckon we didn't really cover Labrador Nature & Coastal Walk.

Lastly, we head over to Vivo City for lunch at Nyona & Baba Pranakan & dessert at Awfully Chocolate!

Excursion to Night Safari

Whye Wan, Cindy, Angela & myself head down to Night Safari - Singapore after dinner at Heng Heng Curry Cafe to meet up with Wang Hui & Eric. Thanks to the group's new member - Yihui, who is a staff at Singapore Zoological Garden, we managed to get out tickets at only $17.50 after staff discount (Usual $35)!

A group picture (Angela's missing cos she'e the photographer) before it gets really dark at the Night Safari!

We covered both the Fishing Cat & Lepoard Trail by foot & it took us about 2 hours cos we stopped at each animal for awhile. Sorry, unable to capture pictures of the animals cos I didn't figure out my camera functions till now & the iPhone4S is totally hopeless.

Rested our feet at Zebra cafe for awhile before continuing.

Wang Hui climbed up the Zebra to pose lah! lol

Whye Wan is sporting enough to snap a picture with her, but seriously, I don't quite get why she show the 'thumbs down'

After resting out feet, we head to Wallaby Trail & there's a cave featuring some insect & there's Scorpions inside. Oh well, Scorpions looks quite chio in the dark huh?

We then head to the Creatures of the Night show. We practically walked pretty fast back to the entrance just so that we can catch the last show at 10.30pm.

After the show, we decided to went for the Tram ride which you can get to see quite a lot of animals which is non-accessible by foot.

One last picture before leaving.

Quite an educational place to be, so I'll probably bring the boys here again when I have the time!

Awfully Chocolate

After our lunch at Nyona & Baba Peranakan, Ivy is craving for chocolate dessert, so we had 2 choices. Awfully Chocolate & Max Brenner. Max Brenner was rather pack, so we settle for Awfully Chocolate

Super Stacked Chocolate Cake - few layers of different chocloate cake; moist & fluffy & not very sweet

Flourless Chocolate Cake - A little hard on the outside but soft inside. It is a little sweeter due to the icing on top

White Chocolate Creme Brulee Tart. I reckon this is something relatively new cos I have not seen this before. I was expecting it to be very sweet but the sweetness was just right.

Last picture of all the chocolates before we dig in!
