Symmetry - Brunch after Bare Your Sole

After baring our sole, Wendy & myself met up with Sam for brunch at Symmetry. 

The cafe was very crowded on Saturday noon!

I had the Grapefruit Citron drink which is very sour & it's a perfect drink to quench the thirst from the heat

Sam's Chocolate Oreo Milkshake which she is very satisfied about it

We ordered the Popcorn Shrmip during our last visit & were very pleased with it. Thus, we ordered the same item again for sharing & were pleased that it is still as good.

My Steak & Eggs is being served with Bratwurst Sausage & 2 slices of toast at the side. Steak was not given a choice for done-ness & it was served well done, but it was still tender. Not sure what's the purple thing on the toast, but it taste like some berries cream

The BIG Breakfast is really huge! 2 eggs of choice (scrambled, poached & sunny side up), maple glazed bacon, smoked salmon, chicken cheese sausage, sauteed mushrooms, hash brown, crispy toast and greens. Wendy had her eggs done poached & it was served baked with cheese which she loves it.

Ham Hock & Pancetta Steak with smoked Italian bacon steak, shredded pork knuckle, scramble eggs, hash brown, crispy toast and some greens. Sam was very much satisfied with her choice

We were quite full from our breakfast & so we only ordered one set of Waffles, which is served with berries compote, peanut butter, nutella, maple syrup, honeycomb ice cream and chantilly cream. The waffle is crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside & it did not disappoint me!

Symmetry Cafe - Dinner w/Wendy & Sam

Wendy initiate a dinner date to reward herself of her hard work during the school term & before she goes for her well deserved holiday. Sam then suggested Symmetry as she finds the food pretty good after her recent lunch date. So... ... we're here for dinner!

Let's take a quick look inside the cafe

Welcome appetizer - Amuse Bouche (grapes on crushed ice) was served upon seated

Same ordered the Hot Chocolate & requested for latte art & the mash-mellows to be placed at the side. The barrister on duty obliged it with a bunny. How cute!

I had Symmetric (Vodka, Strawberry, Passionfruit) which is quite nice. Doesn't taste too alcholic

Prawn Popcorn with wasabi dressing is very addictive

Asparagus & Bacon Sticks w/poached egg & hickory sauce is very nice, but a little salty thou.

Both Wendy & myself had the Symmetry Hamburger w/Tender Beef cheek, chorizo (erm.. didn't taste this thou), creamy foie gras, caramelize onion & beetroot. Yummy! 

Sam had Baby Barramundi and commented that the fish on it;s own is quite bland

The food was good & we are already planning to be back here for brunch cos Sam is craving for their waffles

While on the way out, we saw a very cute kitty & suspected that she belongs to the cafe. True enough, she belongs to the cafe & even has her very own Instagram accout - symmetrykitty!
