Unicuz Chinese Cuisine | Lunch with Family

Selamat Hari Raya to all my Muslim friends out there!

It's rare that I gets off on a Public Holiday and yet has no plans. Thus, joining le sister & family for lunch at Unicuz Chinese Cuisine at Le Quest Mall

Food was pretty decent and reasonably priced, and we'll definitely be back again. After lunch, we walked around the mall grabbed some food ingredients to cook for dinner.

We also went to check out the very first unmanned Chateraise outlet in Singapore. Very cool leh.. all you need to do is to download their app, input your card & you're ready to go! Items that you grabbed off the shelf will be automatically added to the cart on your app & payment will be auto deducted from your bank acct/ credit card, and oh yes...  they're open 24hrs too!

Happy 50th Birthday, the World's Most Irritating Sister!

Ordered the Orh Nee Crepe Cake from Cafe Lilac (but the cafe has forgotten to put in the candle & knife 😅)With Mitu, I'm sure her heart is fuller this year!Also ordered the Crispy Chocolate Cake from Chateraise for Heeran's birthday that falls on the same day as my irritating sister. 

 

Mitsuba | Charlene's Birthday

It's Charlene's birthday meal and cos she is craving for sashimi, we picked Mitsuba as many people have been telling me that this is a great place for Japanese ala carte buffet.

Becos she is also craving for oysters; we opt for the premium buffet.Scallop is only available for premiumWagyu also for premium.Complimentary for all diners.Oysters for premium, Pretty good but not very cold.Sashimi was quite a disappointment as it was not even chilled when being served. Somewhat at room temperature.Foie Gras, Lobster Biqsue & Grill Prawn are also under premium,Second serving of oysters was served at room temperature3rd serving of oysters even has a fishy smell!Charlene decided to give the sashimi a second chance & turns out the sashimi was again served at room temperature.I bought a Mixed Berry Tart instead of the usual cakeHappy Birthday, CharleneCharlene, please go dye your hair & we'll see you in December!
